I’ve been praying about the homeless in my area; where I feel like there isn’t much I can do. My husband struggles with schizophrenia; where he is one step away from being that homeless person. In the last 2 weeks I’ve been listening to Michael Todd’s 9 part series, The Upgrade, being filled with the person of The Holy Spirit; along with, of course, not missing an episode of pastor each Sunday. My husband is going through a medication change. It was presented to us a couple of months ago, but we felt like, “why change something that had been working all along.” We have had nothing but struggles in the last 2 months with the medication company changing, and the medicine not really working that great. I’ve been listening to lonely places, favor over fear, move forward, and others recently that help me have the confidence it takes to go through this. We have come to determination that the pharmacy companies fighting for supremacy over a name of a brand is not fair to put us through these hardships, but instead, we band together and push through anyways. I am favored. If it’s symptoms they want from us to record about the progress of these conditions, we happily gave them a list, and feel satisfied that we, full of The Holy Spirit, are the ones who were chosen by God to conquer and over come. We have an appointment Monday morning that will hopefully prescribe the new medicine. We pray that the latter is better than the former. Thank you to all who are involved in presenting the good news and praying for us in Jesus name.

Don’t worry about what ppl say about you. Not everyone will like you. You are doing the Lords work and you and your family will be rewarded. I’ve been listening to you every Sunday for 3 years preaching the Word. From when I got saved and baptized and I will continue to listen. You have such a way of making the Bible click for a new believer like myself. Ppl say they don’t like you but the enemy is the accuser of the brethren and greater is HE that is in us than he that is in the world. Ppl should not judge or they too will be judged. The Holy Spirit hasn’t changed water into wine for me, but I have been encouraged in my spirit to take a discouraging situation and change it into one that is encouraging. I look for the lesson in defeat and I allow God to turn mourning to dancing.
So I have this habit of pausing the video when you tell the scripture we are going over and going to read and I get my app out or my Bible turn to the section and this time I opened my app and I had so many of the verses highlighted and different colors and I’m like yea I’ve been here before! And I read it over again all the way to verse 29 and I went straight back to verse 26 and 27 because something caught my eye in a different way than it has before because I’ve focused on the fasting and rebuking and casting out and drawing from my own circumstances at this particular time in my life I realized it wasn’t just a hand helping this man to his feet it was and is an ever present hand reaching out that all might be saved what ever circumstance you’re in what ever darkness that has you surrounded and hope is losing sight there is a lamp there is a light on the hill and a hand in the darkness and that hand will not only pick you up and help dust you off but it will pull you out of death unto a new life. No matter who you are or where you are in life the hand of Jesus Christ is reaching for you to pull you out of the chains of your circumstances and choices and sin. Yes I watched the rest of the video and I could take one of the many anointed messages and study it for days and I will! But this one hit me, I’m not here for the people I’m here for the people and for Jesus and sing his praises and shout his Glory and bless his name!! Glory to God snd thank you Jesus for pulling me out of the dark when I seen no other way. Thank you for reaching deep down through the turmoil and pain and through the circumstances and saving a sinner like me.

Steven, as you preached this sermon, and you came to the part where you said Jesus claims this one only comes out by prayer, I thought I heard the Spirit say not just by pray, but the prayer, and was compelled to read John 17 6 - 19, An attitude of prayer is an intimate connection to the Father that Jesus had, thus he did not need to pray as he told them to pray, but was in constant state of prayer.
@@elevationchurch of all my takeaways I'd say the biggest one is that I should be mindful to separate myself from my errors, insecurities and negative experiences. Like the boy's father I want to be able to truthfully declare Ephesians 2:8-10 because if God identifies a negative trait it's for me to allow Him to help me in that area. I haven't seen my son going on 4 months because his mother uses him to hurt me because I don't want to be with her anymore. I have 50/50 custody through the courts and she is in contempt of court and I'm waiting for My hearing for over 3 months due to covid. Watching elevation on a daily basis certainly helps me from becoming violent.
So sorry to hear that. Stay strong for yourself and mostly your son. Be the example. When you get to court, the restraint you have show till work in your favor. Your ex is going to help your case by being in contempt.

Pastor today there was a celebration in heaven God used me and my friend to save a soul ,a lady didn't believe in the white man's Bible, her saying...so she didn't have one..when I went over to meet her after she said that I stopped and prayed real quick said oh God I don't know how to help her plz step in..it's Sunday night we took her to speak with a pastor name Steve walls ,when she came out she said I'm getting baptized ...after sitting outside sweating and singing Laure diagles music ,I told my friend that woman better come walking out with a bible lol..I love Jesus so much it was worth all the sweating waiting outside Flys bugging me..we don't have a fancy car with ac or we would be cooled..but singing helped out thet we was really hot
Please pray for my son Anthony. He was a good boy and now he’s homeless and won’t get help. Both my kids were raised in the same home and the same but they are completely different. I know God loves him more than I do. I can’t help but worry and I have anxiety wondering what will happen to him. Will God heal him in my lifetime?
Will you 💘 love him any less. My brother just passed away 2 w..eek ago. It is a hard process.he was also homeless from the age of fourteen. I have learned that the word love as often as we use it.. Will be tested by ourunderstanding of Gods love for is. Jesus accepted me and my deceitful heart as I am. I love my brother. We raised in a household that was the main dealers home. Our Father is what I believed.. I am hurt that his life lacked family support and love..i believe that he had he had a life long health issues that had never been addressed. That made his choices harder as well to ne one that wasbeaten emotionally by both parents. Never doubt the position of grace love and forgiveness God entrusted to you of your child. Will be alright. I am praying for your comunity help and resources.we all fall short of Gods glory. And yes If he asked you if you did your best? He IS God we can not lie. I can relate I have fallen into that trap of just becoming lazy not been bothered doing anything I really enjoy been busy doing physical work I have got done pain that's been ongoing for a while need some strong prayer and to be healed
right, "...and fasting." Great opportunity for a Bible study discussion about that. Some versions of the Bible eliminate "fasting," I wonder why? The disciples weren't fasting while Jesus was present. Mark 2:19. Also, Jesus didn't pray, he commanded the spirit to leave. And...hmm...If we eliminate the "fasting" part does that mean Jesus, was saying his disciples were not prayerful? I don't think so. Jesus rebuked all who were present for their lack of unbelief. Did that include the disciples? So then, my understanding is that it is a combination of believing, prayer and fasting that drives out spirits like that. Just wanted to share my thoughts with someone. : )

Steven, as you preached this sermon, and you came to the part where you said Jesus claims this one only comes out by prayer, I thought I heard the Spirit say not just by pray, but the prayer, and was compelled to read John 17 6 - 19, An attitude of prayer is an intimate connection to the Father that Jesus had, thus he did not need to pray as he told them to pray, but was in constant state of prayer.

Like the boy's father I want to be able to truthfully declare Ephesians 2:8-10 because if God identifies a negative trait it's for me to allow Him to help me in that area. I haven't seen my son going on 4 months because his mother uses him to hurt me because I don't want to be with her anymore. I have 50/50 custody through the courts and she is in contempt of court and I'm waiting for My hearing for over 3 months due to covid. Watching elevation on a daily basis certainly helps me from becoming violent.

So sorry to hear that. Stay strong for yourself and mostly your son. Be the example. When you get to court, the restraint you have show till work in your favor. Your ex is going to help your case by being in contempt.

Hello Pastor, Just thought I'd tell you how much my family and I admire you. I also have a son called Chris, he is only 24, but doesn't call me, hes a kind young man, but I don't understand whats wrong, only call in Chrismas and Birthdays, I'm very hurt and miss him tremendously.
Pastor today there was a celebration in heaven God used me and my friend to save a soul ,a lady didn't believe in the white man's Bible, her saying...so she didn't have one..when I went over to meet her after she said that I stopped and prayed real quick said oh God I don't know how to help her plz step in..it's Sunday night we took her to speak with a pastor name Steve walls ,when she came out she said I'm getting baptized ...after sitting outside sweating and singing Laure diagles music ,I told my friend that woman better come walking out with a bible lol..I love Jesus so much it was worth all the sweating waiting outside Flys bugging me..we don't have a fancy car with ac or we would be cooled..but singing helped out thet we was really hot

Please pray for my son Anthony. He was a good boy and now he’s homeless and won’t get help. Both my kids were raised in the same home and the same but they are completely different. I know God loves him more than I do. I can’t help but worry and I have anxiety wondering what will happen to him. Will God heal him in my lifetime?
Will you 💘 love him any less. My brother just passed away 2 w..eek ago. It is a hard process.he was also homeless from the age of fourteen. I have learned that the word love as often as we use it.. Will be tested by ourunderstanding of Gods love for is. Jesus accepted me and my deceitful heart as I am. I love my brother. We raised in a household that was the main dealers home. Our Father is what I believed.. I am hurt that his life lacked family support and love..i believe that he had he had a life long health issues that had never been addressed. That made his choices harder as well to ne one that wasbeaten emotionally by both parents. Never doubt the position of grace love and forgiveness God entrusted to you of your child. Will be alright. I am praying for your comunity help and resources.we all fall short of Gods glory. And yes If he asked you if you did your best? He IS God we can not lie. If your answer is yes that is good enough for me..

I can relate I have fallen into that trap of just becoming lazy not been bothered doing anything I really enjoy been busy doing physical work I have got done pain that's been ongoing for a while need some strong prayer and to be healed

right, "...and fasting." Great opportunity for a Bible study discussion about that. Some versions of the Bible eliminate "fasting," I wonder why? The disciples weren't fasting while Jesus was present. Mark 2:19. Also, Jesus didn't pray, he commanded the spirit to leave. And...hmm...If we eliminate the "fasting" part does that mean Jesus, was saying his disciples were not prayerful? I don't think so. Jesus rebuked all who were present for their lack of unbelief. Did that include the disciples? So then, my understanding is that it is a combination of believing, prayer and fasting that drives out spirits like that. Just wanted to share my thoughts with someone. : )

in the king james bible it say only by fasting and prayer
So does NKJV. Fasting is a HUGE factor in this passage not to be excluded.
BUT, Did you, yourself, read it from the version he preaches from? Why are we so fast to poke holes in something instead of take the message in?
Fasting and prayer does a lot , I did it , and become a lot closer to God. I’m not putting this pastor down nor judging him. Just saying we should fast and pray as well. Jesus is coming back soon, and should remember the devil is like a lion seeking who he can devour. He’s out to steal , kill, and destroy.
This message is anointed. It was so pertinent to me and my relationship with the Lord right now. Ephesians 2:10 is a verse I heard in another sermon by another pastor just before I turned this one on that caught my attention.
