    Hey thank you for the vid!! I was wondering, how many ppl were you sharing a kitchen with in Beit? Did you make close friends that way?

    • @TomorrowsMedic
      @TomorrowsMedic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey! From memory I was sharing with around 10 people, with one being a hall senior (an older year student). This tends to be around the average for Beit. Kitchens are definitely a great way to make new friends, most people form close bonds with their kitchen and even end up even living with each other in the years after. One thing I recommend is go kitchen hopping when you move in, as this is a very quick way to meet lots of new people.

    Great video! Between Eastside and Southside, which one do you think is better?

    • @TomorrowsMedic
      @TomorrowsMedic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Aashish! In terms of Eastside vs Southside, the two halls our very similar to each-other and they tend to be regarded as more or less the same by students.
      Nevertheless a few differences are:
      - Eastside was completed in 2009 vs Southside in 2007.
      - Southside has a greater range of room options
      - Southside price range: £248-302 v.s Eastside £260 vs 302

    the lower ground floor rooms in southside are cheaper, do you recommend them? Or do they have bad lighting and should be avoided?

    • @TomorrowsMedic
      @TomorrowsMedic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On the Imperial accommodation website it says the lower ground halls have “restricted views”. This probably accounts for the price difference, although I have not seen these rooms myself.

    Hey! So would you choose Beit over Southside, say? or the other way round?

    • @TomorrowsMedic
      @TomorrowsMedic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Southside does have its advantages over Beit, with respect to it being more modern and tends to be quieter.
      I put both down when I applied.

    heyy, im under 18 when uni starts. I was wondering why beit isn't an option for under 18 students, as it isnt mention anywhere i've checked. thank you for the video:)

    • @TomorrowsMedic
      @TomorrowsMedic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Rushvi, Beit isn't an option for under 18's unfortunately. I believe this is because the union bar and night club are located within the Beit Quadrangle itself and so regulations mean that they can't house under 18's in this hall.
