Even though we had some issues running the TorqueMaster 540 Expert motors we didn't want to give up on Holmes Hobbies. We got a few 550 sealed TrailMasters and a 540 TrailMaster. We have NOT had any issues with these motors yet, all of them have ran strong through anything we put them through and continue to run. Very happy with Holmes Hobbies sealed can motors so far!!

Hey I just smoked my stock Spawn ESC and motor, was going to throw the Hobbywing 1080 in it and was looking at the Trailmaster motors. Would you be able to tell me how many turns the Trailmaster you chose is and what gearing you're running? Also are you running 2S or 3S lipos? The footage in your videos is really great, the only thing I felt was slightly lacking were a few extra details on your specific setup!

The 550 Trailmaster is a 27 Turn, stock gearing, Hobbywing 1080 running on a 3S Lectron Pro. Other upgrades are Vanquish Lockouts and hubs, Proline Interco Super Swampers, HotRacing Diff Covers, Hot Racing High Clearance Links, Axial Metal Trans Gears (stock plastic gears stripped out) and a Savox Servo. Oh! And Integy shocks! Think that's everything...

@@RoadsideRC Installing one in the SCX10II next. Just have to solder the leads, cut the battery tray and possibly lift the trans higher off the skid plate... Direct fit! Lol
