- The strongest tournament start ever! 👋 The second part of the tournament eliminations for PunchDown 3 - Slapfighting Championship, in which 16 elite players competed for the title of the new PunchDown Champion and the main prize of PLN 30,000!
Apart from the PunchDown 2 Slapping Champion - Dawid "Zaleś" Zalewski, the slapfighting tournament was also attended by the Russian slapfighting Champion Vasily "The Dumpling" Kamotsky (Vasily Kamotskiy, Пельмень) and Polish Strongman - Artur "Waluś" Walczak.
Wolverine - a returning slap fighter Jakub "Hecman" Rygiel, and debuting Maksymilian "Max" Leśniak also took part in the tournament, and he will surprise us more than once! 😉

I agree 100%. It's also a disadvantage for fattier competitors whose bellies actually represent an important fraction of the distance between them and their opponents.

29:35 - That's one of the best pure slap KOs I've seen. A lot of these guys are basically stiff arming their opponents to get KOs and not really slapping.
I'd still consider a stiff arm a slap, just a stiff armed slap. This was definitely a good one, respect to both
As long as you aim for the jaw bone and manage to hit it with the large bone in your palm right above the wrist you can easily achieve a knock out. Also the guy does t brace himself at all .. no clenching the teeth no neck no trap activation nothing..If you see his opponent clenches his teeth brings his jaw back etc in this way he greatly reduces the effect of the impact

Thank you for this upload! The table puts the shorter contestants in a disadvantage but I guess they made it like that in order to limit the reach so that they slap with fingers and not with the lower part of the hand or arm. I guess this brings some safety but also great disadvantage to shorter contestants.

Anyone saying that the table is preventing injuries is straight up delusional. There are so many instances in this video where contestants can't get off a clean and accurate slap, which results to clubbing or too high hits because the distance is messing up their form, technique and accuracy.

Hecman powinien być zdyskwalifikowany! Cały czas skręca głowę podczas liścia co powoduje plask samych palców. Jego przeciwnik dlatego odleciał bo trzymał sztywno kark, nie skręcał głowy.

Please remove either the top of the table or shave down the edges before the next set of matches. The shorter dudes are at such a disadvantage with this set up. They have to reach across and don't get the same leverage as those who can easily reach across. Don't get me wrong the table looks cool, but it's not good
