The soundcloud audio has the vocals raised, since I always get complaints that my vocals are drowned out but I can't ever tell, and thought that may be an issue here.
I haven't actually seen Overlord, so I can't recommend or not recommend, but covering this really made me want to check it out.
Also the spoken word is not me, I couldn't find an instrumental without Myth & Roid's adlibs and when I layered over it it sounded even weirder, so lmao.

Ah, I love this cover! I’ve refrained from commenting, but I’ll let you know now that this particular translation has really opened up a lot of creative freedom for me! Whenever I listen to the first half, I imagine an opening for one of my concepts for an animated series. If I ever do come around to actually animating a concept opening, I’ll be sure to use this (w/ credit ofc). Love this and your work!
Something I love about the original lyrics is the blur between romantic obsession and deity worship. You preserved that well in this translation. That tension covers Albedo's relationship to Ainz perfectly. What really strikes me about it is how it echoes the language Christian mystics like St John of the Cross and St Teresa of Avila use in very intimate passages of their diaries communicating with God or writing about their relationship with God.
I really appreciate the attitude many of Nazarick's denizens show to Ainz and the other guildmembers. The guildmembers were their creators, and the worship they display is therefore very appropriate. They would not exist without them, and so they truly owe everything to them, and any attempt to repay that debt would be a result of their creation as well, and thus it is ultimately not repayable. Seeing this play out in Albedo and the other extremely loyal characters actually inspires me to be a better Christian, as odd as that probably sounds to some.
