The worst thing this has done to me is dredge up all of the feelings that I felt when I first watched Steven Universe, and making me realize how confusing the logistics of Steven's very existence are.
@@casualscrollron3923 Well, think about it: The first issue is, how does a human conceive a child with a being made entirely of light, and the second is that it's never properly explained why Rose couldn't then exist at the same time as Steven (or maybe it is, I stopped watching around the homeworld arc) and then when Steven attempts shapeshifting and fusion, how does the human body adapt to something like that? It leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

This proves that when Tumblr died we had to make sure it was truly dead and stayed that way. Now we've got this fandom zombie apocalypse kinda stuff going on.

OMGS what you said about 'where canon comes to die' is SO true. A good example is my fave character, Will Solace from the Percy Jackson Universe (the Riordanverse). The fandom legit *gave him freckles* because of a headcanon that got popular. I was actually introduced to solangelo through KOTLC (weird af story), and because I read fanfics before the series (mistake no. 2 I know lol) I thought that 1, solangelo was wayy more involved than it actually is, and 2, THAT WILL HAS FRECKLES.
