I bought the sit down arcade machine off eBay about 20 years ago, amazingly it also turned out to be the exact same machine I played on holidays as a kid. Still never finished it though! It also needed branching paths like OutRun or at least a choice of courses, just the one gets a bit stale. BTW Sega also did that cutting the game in half for space with Captain Silver in the US, but not Europe strangely.
A fantastic video my friend. A very under rated game this one. I loved Enduro Racer on the Spectrum, and it was the best arcade racer on the system up until that point. The 128k music was great too, very nostalgic! The "what were they thinking" cut scenes are hilarious :D
Cool Video, thanks for that. The Arcade Version reminds me a bit of "Buggy Heat" which I played on Atari ST back in the days. Or the other way around: Buggy Heat reminds me a bit of Enduro Racer: Use jumps to come across rocks in the way. I still gotta visit the Arcade Museum in Seligenstadt - just 1.5hr from my home! I was thrilled when I realized that Enduro Racer got a Spectrum version! Loved it! :) One of my most played games back in the day ;) I was hoping that it would also arrive to the Amiga. But it never happened.
Não conhecia a versão arcade, mas lembro-me perfeitamente de jogar a versão para spectrum em miúdo com muito prazer (antes de pegar no hang on), mas nunca passava do segundo nível... Por acaso, é dos poucos jogos que vou pegando quando ainda jogo alguma coisa no spectrum, mas lá está! O segundo nível é tão difícil que só me apetece partir tudo... (ou, então, eu é que sou mesmo nabo...)
O 2º nível é mesmo complicado. Muitas pedras pelo meio do percurso mesmo não havendo saltos que nos permitam tirar proveito deles. E depois existem também os jipes! Lol! :)

Sim, quem não jogou o original nem os ports para os computadores pessoais, vão gostar da versão da master system.
