The suction cup is included to give you a "handle" when installing. Attach the cup to one corner. With one hand, grasp the cup and with the other hold the glass at the edge. Use the cup to align one corner of the glass before making contact (recessed screens are harder to reach because of the bezel around the edge - suction cup helps you align closer). You did a good job without the cup, but it does allow the user to have more confidence during the alignment step).
Thank you very much for that helpful tip. I could have used them to make life easier but I didn't because I have replaced so many screen protectors on phones that is already semi easy for myself. Again you are correct it does make it easier for someone that is doing this for the first time. 💯💯💯
