I was in the L.A County Jail hole (4000 floor) Back around yr.08-09 sometime during the riots. An OG name, Ant from Hoover, was in the cell (4 man cell) with me and another homie(SOUTH S1D3R). 3 people total in that the cell. I was kool with Ant. I used to work out with him in a cell. I was in my mid twenties, and Ant had to be in his late forties or early 50s at the time, about 6'3 "because im 6'1. He was in pretty good shape for his age. He had short french braids. When the riots kicked off in all cells, early morning, Ant from Hoover was asleep. I woke him up and told him it's krackin. He got up, and we got a 1on1. I gave that to him cause I respected that OG.. He even got tired and took a seat on his bunk for a sec. and the other homie got him some water. It was all respect. It's never personal, only business. Police came and started separating BLACKS and SOUTH S1D3RS outta the cells. We were the very last cell in the back. This was a long time ago. I wonder if ANT is still around. Respect's 💯
