You could say offensively he wasn't much worse up through 2018, aside from maybe his jumpshot efficiency, but on both sides of the ball his best peak was definitely around '08/'09 through '13/'14.

There are guys that can carry a team and have a relationship with winning. There are very few players that are like that. There's Magic, Duncan, Jordan, Lebron with Kobe and Curry debateable. KD can't do it. Magic and Lebron surpass a lot of top players because of leadership and judgement (Jordan and Kobe didn't have to be marksmen). The other skills are definitely inferior to those qualities. Everybody hypes up shooting - even with guys who don't know when to shoot. Most people only have only 1 or 2 shooters in their top ten. And Curry only recently made big timely shots. Magic had a much better shooting percentage, ts %, and made more big shots than nearly every big time shooter. Not as skilled with shooting, but much more practical and more efficient and the ball was better in his hands. You can have all the skill in the world but if another guy finds baskets and conference titles more its a manifestion of being better. Lebron scores as much as KD. Who wins more? You guys say KD is more skilled but it doesn't have manifestations that science can point to.

Luck is going to happen for you and against you. Lebron could go anywhere and contend deep into the playoffs without great coaches. Jordan needed Pip but was just superior. KD had a lot of superior talent teams (two MVP talents, blocks leaders, Offensive rebound leaders, great perimeter defenders, debt) all at the same time. Then he had Step Curry, Clay Tompson and Draymond Green and a team with the best record ever wih whom he won with. He was barely ever on a bad team but if he had to carry a team it just doesn't work.

Kareem in his last two years wasn't the HOFer Kareem. If you contend for your true playing career and its more than a decade and still win without your number two what more do you want from him. Duncan lead his team in all statistical categories in championship runs, and was the best player in all five championship runs. Averaged more assist than Tony Parker and still lost FMVP to him. Leonard did guard Lebron good that one series and won but the burden all year was on Duncan.

I'd give kawhi playing off ball defensive Iq defensive versatility and rim protection and steals on and off ball btw rim pressure is the same as finishing around the rim and I'd give KD overall scoring skill (like scoring versatility) aswell and length (height and wingspan) and space creation

Scoring is just one aspect of basketball. It’s really important but it doesn’t make you overwhelmingly better than another player example being Rondo, j kidd these 2 were never lights out scorers but to argue that they were not top 10 or even top 5 player is just wrong.
