Mine hits the indices and loses just over one second per month. Expensive quartz without a doubt (Longines VHP money) but it’s a solid accurate watch. The day/date is slow to change which is the only thing I don’t like. Seiko have stamped the caseback to show year of the next estimated battery change, a thoughtful touch.
There was a time where I wasn't a fan of the Tuna's but they're probably my favorite divers from Seiko now. Might have to wear mine for the day today 😁👍
I've owned three Tunas in the past and it's the only Seiko I regret not having in my collection. The 045 returns to the Gen 1 handset (mostly) and most importantly finally brings a sapphire crystal to the 300 meter variants. I've never been to a watch enthusiast meetup but if I did, the watch that I would be most tempted to wear is a Seiko Tuna. It is watch that only watch geeks can appreciate. Thanks for the review, Aron!
Lee, you are exactly right. Totally a watch geek watch, with truly professional specs most of its purchasers will never come close to needing. I'm thrilled to have a Tuna in the collection. Cheers buddy 👍 😎
I’ve had 2 each of the 031’s, 033’s and 035’s. and I just recently purchased the Sbbn037 Bluna. I keep flipping them but they always find their way back into the rotation. Amazing watches.
How much effort does it take to turn the bezel on the SBBN045 vs the SBBN035. I have both of them and the bezel on the 45 required almost no effort compare to the 35. Just curious about the SBBN045 on your video Thanks
The 7c46 is not all-metal, it's actually mostly plastic composite. However, the crucial parts are of course metal, the plastic is mostly for "filler" as quartz movements have much fewer parts that take up space in the watch. The 7549-movements in the older tunas are all-metal because they were based off of the 6309 mechanical movements and used the same base plate. The baseplate has been replaced with FRP in the 7c's. The bracelets are not made with titanium parts anymore, but I do believe older versions were.
My Glashutte Original Sea Q panorama date blows all my Seiko's away for lume. It glows hard for 8 hours plus. Like nothing I have ever seen. This said its around $15000 so It should
22mm lugs at the case, bracelet tapers to 18mm at the clasp assembly.

They can be polarizing at first, but once you fall for one your hooked 😉👍 Have a great week my friend!

Very much appreciate how clear and concise the tone at which you communicate is. Subbed. Thanks again, Ryan Warkentin.

Heard the SBBN045 was discontinued?
Watching this made me go put on my srp637
That is a great watch 😎 👍

Hi Aron, did that bracelet come with the watch? Seems every tuna I look at has a rubber strap. A
No. The owner paid a lot of money to source the bracelet separately.
@@OFD Actually looks like an MM300 strap.:
Love the Tuna's!🍻
