Team three G and the Bettermen really pulled out all the stops for their final forms. Shame they couldn't fix the Sliverion Crusher

Should have got a hair-cut though, I mean, have the time I look at Mamoru's hairdo, I keep thinking "The troll-style has made a comeback".
I like the detail that Gaofighgar and Gaogaigo both have Protect Wall, the upgraded version of Protect Shade, which nullifies damage under 1800, while Gaogaigar only has the Protect Shade, which only nullifies damage under 1600 on account of being weaker than Protect Wall. Then, however, you get to Genesic-or rather, Final-Gaogaigar, which like Gaogaigar, lacks the manmade Phantom/Program Rings that allow for Protect Wall... but by virtue of being the original true Gaogaigar, its abilities and tech outshines all of the advancements made by mankind to an absurd degree, so Final/Genesic's Protect Shade nullifies damage up to 2000.
1:14 A bit of a correction here. It's explicitly stronger than the regular non-Genesic GaoGaiGar due to a combination of factors.
Mechanically, it's officially started somewhere that the Earth Made GaoMachines weren't 100% compatible with Galleon. GaoFighGar doesn't suffer from these issues. Additionally, because the Phantom Ring Plus is generated from the front, it's quicker for GaoFighGar to enter a stance and fire its punch than Star GaoGaiGar can.
In-story, when Mamoru amped up the Replicant GaoGaiGar in FINAL, he and Gai were roughly on equal footing until Gai learned the true final phrase for Hell and Heaven and overpowered the _GaoGaiGar who was boosted by the PasQ machine._ The level of courage obviously played a role in it, but even one part of the PasQ Machine was enough to boost up the Gimlet Empereur to to become... Kind of a threat. So the fact it took the full PasQ Machine to put the original GaoGaiGar on par with GaoFighGar is kind of telling.
4:25 Tomoro-0117 technically isn't a pilot, he's King J-Der's core. It'd kind of be like calling Galleon a sub-pilot
EDIT: About the energy usage, GaoGaiGar is one of those series where the level of power is out of control. Randomly destroyed parallel universes, extra-dimensional spatial traps/transportation, tools created for the explicit purposes for manipulation of space/time, potential for infinite output, etc. etc. None of it is the result of powercreep either, that's just how GaoGaiGar naturally _is._ I imagine that the SRW team wanted you to feel the impact of how it's like to use one of these, probably.
The series was purely based off information from SRW, the text read being straight from the Mech Encyclopedia section. While Tomoro-0117 technically isn't a pilot, it has sub-pilot status in-game with a spirit list. I didn't offer any corrections whether I knew them or not since that wasn't really in the scope of the videos, however I'm restructuring the series to include some more information outside of SRW's available info. Perhaps I'll redo some of these older ones in the future.

I very much wish there was a secret scenario where gai/guy managed to convince Triple zero(Za power) to help them and become this insanely powerful unit in game similar to Koji and Mazinger zero in SRW V.
I was hoping for an explanation of what the hell the bettermen are, but I guess even the game encyclopedia doesn't explain it :p

Tbf, Kakuseijin V2 is very useful because it naturally has Resupply as a command.
It only is combat-ready gameplaywise if both Hinoki (hers being probably the most useful for Kakuseijin V2; auto-Analyze enemies when you attack them with Hinoki, as well as reducing their Morale by 3) and Keita (at below 20% HP, activate a set of Spirits that increase Kakuseijin V2's capability for a turn) get their Ace Bonuses, while Ikumi and Mamoru are better off sticking to GaoGaiGo.
Yeah the Kakuseijin V2 is a good support unit, and Mamoru makes GaiGo a real tank since pretty much all of his spirits are damage reduction ones
@RevoSKL I've found out of the 4 GGG's GaoGaiGo is the most vulnerable without SP. Gai and Renais have damage reducing skills/aces. Final GGG may just be among the strongest non-secret mech units in SRW that could for the most part solo a map alone. The others being Alpha 1 Gunbustet, Diebuster, Chouginga Gurren Lagann/TTGL, Granzon/Neo Granzon, Valguard/Valzacard, Zeorymer, Mazinkaiser. Shin Jeeg, Meteor Freedom/Justice, Nu Gundam, Shin Jeeg.
Will you do RX-78-2, RX-93 and RX-93-2 in one video?
I'll look at the overall unit list for the Gundam guys, I'll probably have those 3 plus some other main units, as I'd like to keep these videos around 10-15 minutes long

With new Tech though it has to use manual Final Fusion as the Genesic machines are too damaged to do it unaided

Final Gaogaigar is unlocked through story progression, there also isn't an early unlock stage for it
