This KK Ladybird series certainly is inspiring me. My kit, same as the one featured, has gone from a part completed but broken box of bits in the shed to an up and going project. Telling me where to get the plan (outerzone) which I was missing was a particular good help to gettimg started
Shop class for me was 65 years ago, but a lot of what was learned has been useful. I enjoy watching though no longer build or fly. I love that your teachers name was Ellis.
Remains me of when I was 12 years old and soldered my first fuel tank, not so good looking but it worked. Your video inspires me to make a go too make a new one for my cl plane 🙂
I have a choice of two Mills 1.3 engines that could go into it but a bit of throttle control would be nice too. I'm also thinking of finishing it as a purely free flight model with the option of hacking some rc into it later. The fin was a bit of a fiddle wasn't it? I'll be at the tailplanes next. Reckon I'll keep them "all moving", as per the design. Thanks for your great work and sharing.
Thought I posted this last night. Proof that I have been inspited to finish my 31 year old kit :) th-cam.com/users/shortsFLTGlElPf_w?si=kvOZUX1yfYHMbtBf

Glad you get enjoyment from the videos makes it worthwhile 😊
Good demo Mark, I only recently soldered the tank for my Matador, the oOd skills are the best now I know how I should have done it 👍🙂

Why not its not that difficult, just clean and flux the joints and use an iron that is big enough (this one could have been a little bigger).
Mark amazing fuel tank. Great soldering skills. Jeff in LA USA
Thanks 👍 all came flooding back to me last did it 50 years ago 😂 Mr. Ellis must not have that bad after all.

Love it 😊
Inspired even
Great to see that you have been inspired to revitalise your kit. Likewise you have inspired me to push on with the build too easy to get distracted.
You can see how old and battered mine is in places. I started it in 1993 😂
