@@noire.k Are you sure about these numbers you are giving me....the only combinations that gives a product of 6 will be 2,3, and 1, 6....I can't see how you can get a sum of -16
8x x-10x-3 sum =10 the product which is ac= 8×-3=-24 so them which two numbers will give us minus 10 and minus 24 2 , 12 so then 8x +2x -12x -3x = 2(4x-1) 3(4x+1) that's distributive law = (4x+1) (2x-3)
You can't use 6 and -1. The sum will be 5, but the product is -6. In this example the sum must be 5 and the product must be 6. Only 3 and 2 will give you that.
Best Math tutor in the world! God bless you!
Thank you so much this helped a lot I am a form 3 student and trying CXC for the first time. I am just reading the sub titles and it's very helpful.
BEST TUTOR in the world SIR👍
im preparing for the cxc in jan ‘18. Im going to try my best. Thanks to you i understand more. 👏🏽
Thanks...good luck.
@@CSECMathematics what two numbers when added give you -16 but when multiplied gives you 6

Your videos are extremely helpful.
3x-5x-2 sum =-5 product = 3x-2=-6 the two numbers are (1-6) which is 3x+×-6-2x=>x(3x+1). -2 (3x+1)= (3x+1 (x-2)
Sir can you do a video on completing the square? Please?
3×2-5×-2 sum-5 product 1,-6 3×+×-6×-2×(3×+1)-2(3×+1) = 3x+1
For the question at 15:05 can I use 6,1 as my common factors? Because 6-1 will also give me +5.

Ok thank you for clearing that up.
× 2+7×+10=sum 7and product ac 1×10=10 =×2+5×+2×+10=5,2
thank you terry this enlightened me
I'm glad to hear.
CSEC Mathematics I would also love to see some new content on your physics channel

hey sir, does it matter what order u write the final answer in? for example (x+3) (x+5)
multiplication is commutive, so the order doesn't matter.
