  • No time to cook ? This yogurt cake is made in 2 minutes (excluding cooking and rest in the fridge). Perfect for a light dessert after dinner or lunch. Without flour and without added sugar (we use here a sweetened or flavored natural yogurt). Good tasting !

    400 g sweetened plain yogurt or flavored yogurt (1 cup + 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons)
    4 eggs
    40 g of sifted cornstarch (¼ cup + 1 tbsp)

    I made this last night. I added two tablespoons honey, cinnamon, and a dash of salt. It was really good. The next time I'm going to add the juice and rind of one lemon, cinnamon and top with 1 c sour cream mixed with two tablespoons sugar. This is a great dessert recipe for healthy eating. Thanks!!

    Did this yesterday for the third time. This time I used soja yogurt no sugar (alpro), added frozen mix berries, and I always put cinnamon on top. It's SO delicious. I do taste a bit there is no sugar but with the berries it's balancing and it's really good 😊
    So to those who were asking if you can use vegan yogurt : yes you can!

    Merci beaucoup pour cette recette si simple. Je viens de la faire hier et c'est vraiment un délice à la texture entre le flan pâtissier et le cheese cake cuit. Ayant pris du yaourt au soja nature j'ai aromatisé avec de la vanille en poudre et en extrait. J'ai sucré avec 4 CS de sirop d'agave. Avant d'enfourner j'ai parsemé de noix de coco râpée. Cuisson 50 min à 180 / 200 °C car sinon ça ne cuisait pas dans mon vieux four à gaz (sans chaleur tournante). Résultat magnifique et surtout vraiment succulent 🙏❤️✨ . Je réessayerai la prochaine fois avec une pâte brisée en dessous comme pour les flans pâtissiers.

      With Soy yoghurt! Interesting. Thank you for the idea, my daughter-in-law she’s vegan, I would like to make her one day to surprise her. I’d like to use Monk fruit or Xylitol Birch instead of sugar or any syrup to see how it goes with it. Thanks again for the idea 💐

    Unbelievable - SO GOOD!! I used 0% fat yoghurt, erythritol and potato starch as didn’t have corn but my goodness it was exactly like a baked cheesecake, and barely any calories, you could have this for a healthy high protein breakfast!!!! My new favourite thing.

      😣 Sounds like it would taste like a bitter version of Spanish Flan 😣 or a very bland cheesecake 😣 But I guess for people on a very low calorie diet, this might satisfy them (just don't serve it to people that haven't been on any diets) lol

    I made the recipe this week, using vanilla Greek yogurt. It came out just like in the video! I was so excited to try it once it baked and cooled, but...it was very tart! The texture was great, but I wasn't expecting the taste (I guess I assumed the flavor would be sweeter?).
    So, today I cooked some fresh blueberries with a few tsps. of agave, let it thicken and cool, and then poured a small amount over the cake. What a difference! Delish!

      I have made these type of cakes before. And yes, it is better with vanilla. I don't know if it's a good idea with custard powder? And a fruit or jam topping, makes it just more delicious! . 👍😋

    Bonjour.
    Je viens de le faire avec des yaourts à la grecque à la noix de coco. Zéro efforts, gâteau/flan réussi, doré et fondant. Raisonnable pour les calories 👍. Je l’ai fait dans un moule à cake rectangulaire, ça fait de jolies tranches. Merci pour cette recette.

    I baked it today. It turned out really good! With 325F took definitely longer than 50 mins. Probably 1hr 1/2 until top was golden brown! I served it with roasted strawberries on top! It was delicious 👍🥰

    This was very good and very easy to make. I used key lime flavored 2% fat Greek yogurt (sweetened) and baked as directed in an 7” pan. It took about 55 minutes to get nice and brown on top. Next time I will a couple of tablespoons of lemon or lime juice for extra flavor. It keeps well in the refrigerator for a few days.

    Je l'ai préparé aujourd'hui avec ce que j'avais sous le coude : du yaourt végétal au lait de coco nature, de l'édulcorant vanillé, 4 oeufs et de la farine ! Eh bien c'était tout de même un délice. Peut-être à ressayer avec un oeuf de moins pour limiter le côté "omelette" sucrée, qui ne m'a cependant pas déplu. A refaire !! Merci pour la recette !

      Je l'ai préparé une seconde fois, avec un yaourt soja (Brassé Andros) arôme vanille auquel j'ai ajouté 3 oeufs seulement la farine et 2 cuillères à soupe de caramel. Avec une cuisson longue à 170 puis à 150. Rendu exceptionnel. Coupé en petits cubes et servis saupoudré de cacao, il a été fini en un éclair. Pour moi c'est VA-LI-DÉ !!

    I only had plain yogurt, so I sweetened it with 1 tbsp of honey & one tbsp granulated sugar. Putting it in the refrigerator, now. Looking forward to tasting it after dinner. 🙏

    OK, I made it today with custard powder instead of cornstarch simply because I could not locate the cornstarch. It was absolutely fine, in fact next time I will add vanilla. I made the recipe x 1/2, as my dish was bigger. So the full recipe and half as much again. It cooked beautifully in my woodstove which if I remember was at 180C at the time. Once it looked perfectly golden I removed it, cooled it and refrigerated it. I tried it warm and cold with some thawed berry fruit and by itself and it was very pleasant. I would make it again. So quick, it wasn’t funny.

    Я делаю в мультиварке, при +35 в квартире - это спасение! Просто ставите уже готовый прямо в чаше сначала на пол чуть остыть, потом в холодильник - и на утро холодный волшебный завтрак готов!

    What a cake, it looks beautiful & so easy to make! I don’t know how to bake (I’m learning 😬) and I think I could manage this one! I would maybe sprinkle some light cinnamon on top (probably) and serve with berries on the side. 🍰 Thanks for sharing your brilliance! ☺️

    This looks delicious ~ I would use coconut yoghurt and I would add some vanilla and salt and as I’m trying to avoid corn I would try adding a larger amount of almond flour, maybe it would need another egg as almond flour will leave the yoghurt cake with a different consistency. There is a chance I might not get it right the first time.

      Try using Arrowroot powder, good substitute for corn starch and works in the same way.

    Made with a combination of fat free Greek and a strawberry yoghurt. Served with some stewed apples. I only use sweeteners. Love baked egg custards and cheesecakes so this has to be a winner as none of the calories. Thank you.

    This looks good and so simple! I just made a batch of homemade plain yogurt. I'm going to try. I have honey but you could add vanilla to it. I also just made homemade Blueberry rhubarb jam I could serve with it. Yum!

      THat's what I was thinking. Not really necessary to add sugar - cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc., all would do the trick.

      @@redtickhound It looks like parchment paper. You can get it in the supermarket in the section with plastic wraps and aluminum foil.

    It's pretty much a no crust custard pie/tart. Much like Portugese Pastei de Nata, or South African Milk Tart. Just with yogurt not milk, and starch not flour.
    I think I would myself, when making this, draw some inspiration from those recipes by adding some vanilla essence while mixing, and finishing it off with a bit of sugar and cinnamon once baked.
    I admire the simplicity, but I think one can benefit by adding at least that. Also adding a ready bought crust is not a lot of effort.

    This looks great! I don't like to cook, but I'll try this. I do wish you had shown how you got this out of the pan and paper so neatly without tearing or flipping it over. 😂 Also, I was wondering how honey, which usually thins yogurt, would affect this recipe and what adaptations might be necessary. Thanks for making this video.

    Thank you! That's very creative and looks great. I'm doing intermediate fasting and this would be a wonderful recipe for my eating time windows, without sugar and so much protein. I will definitely try that, both with plain and with fruit yoghurt! :)

    I baked this, and it was delicious. It came out of the oven, high and fluffy, just like in your video. 2 minutes later, it went flat. Nevertheless, it was very delicious, and I will bake this, many times. Thank you. You are an awesome cook and baker.
