Yes me too, i connect with animals so easily and people r not nearly so easy. Even people i love it can b so challenging, it's easier to b with my cat
PS. Also hyper empathy, it's so intense even with fictional characters in a book or show ro movie, also with real life people
PPS. I'm also a verbal processor, yes so helpful for me to hear myself say something and also hear someone else's take on it, like in different words. Writing is such a powerful tool for understanding. i think it served me very well in school
PPPS. Thank u for talking about that question of how autistic people show love. I've been feeling bad about infodumping to my husband and I feel less bad, I wrote down the time and I'm gonna show it to him. I talk to him a lot about psychology stuff, autism, etc. lol. I feel for him I know it's a bit much
O man and being friends with guys, yes so much easier. But then when u r in a relationship it can create this discomfort for your partner (if they're a guy). It sucks, I can't lose my friends, I don't have a tonne and I can also understand how it's uncomfortable for them
I relate to u so much, much love ❤

I totally relate to feeling bad for info dumping/talking about the same things…but it really is one of our love languages. I wish I could make another person understand it but if you are not autistic it probably doesn’t click and possibly even comes across as selfish (like no please). Thank you so much for listening and sharing 🫶
