This reminds me of 2014 Arkansas. 8 SEC were ranked in the pre-season, and ultimately, 8 SEC teams were ranked in the final CFP rankings. Arkansas played all 8 teams that were ranked by the end of the season. Their record was 7-6 overall, 2-6 in the SEC. That team was a lot better than the record would suggest. They go bowling absinthe Texas and win 31-7. Everything coach Saban said is true. But playing 9 is crazy. Who else even has an option of ever seeing that?

Imagine been a football fan and not understanding that these one and done teams like CU, IU and all other that have decent records within their division and play entertaining football should be in the playoffs over teams that have stacked schedules, have a proven record or develop sonsitent championship football programs prior to the NIL, and think they are being snubbed. Those programs dissolve after their Hail Mary season. It’s fun to watch it’s it’s not the BEST. The road to the chip is via the SEC at the moment. Can’t beat up on the special Olympics kids and then join the Olympics and except to be held as the best.
