Great band, first disc from them I bought and still my favorite. Great alternative style but you can still hear that hard metal edge, amazing unique sound, no other band sounds like this, probably never will again.
I still listening the ignis creation ep, it has nothing to do whit any other band, it is unique, a jewel, unfortunately they buried the style together with some members, from my viewpoint they move backwards, from playing a real mature death metal to play teenager songs, that's kind of funny, when they were kids they play music for mature audience and now well everybody has their opinion ......
So, I guess you never heard what other bands, starting with Celtic Frost, were doing at the time. Paradise Lost, the Gathering, Crematory, Tiamat, Amorphis, My Dying Bride, Anathema... They all just kept moving away from that lovely, but generic Death/Doom scene.
,...uh man,...and death metal is for mature or what ? i only know few of mature people who are listening to death metal,...and they never grew up so i dont count them in.....

to me that band simply died in 1993. That sound realm belonged to weezer thats it.
