The VP185s are the eco friendly version of the Valenta Engines built by Paxman and MAN. I Personally think the VP185 engine of the EMT class 43 HST have the scream of the Valenta and the growl of the MTU HST. Thanks Sam
if you are using public transport you want to go to the ASDA at Long Eaton. there is a public footpath around the back of the ASDA approx 10 minutes walk. if you are in the car there is a little housing estate next to the yard at Toton. situated on the east side of the yard, you can park up near a little round about inside the estate.

Don't get me wrong, I love the MTU engine sound, but the Paxman VP185 has something in it for the rail enthusiasts and non-rail enthusiasts 😀👍!
