Dang bill that was a hard hit that bent the wheel so obviously it broke that deck also. Man that sux i would definitely replace the deck cause it will always give you trouble if you weld it
EMail John Deere relentlessly about the issue for repair or part replacement. I had an Ariens snowblower well out of warranty that had the weld prematurely fail on the friction pully bearing journal. After months of incessant emails, Ariens eventually sent me a new friction pully assembly.
i wonder if putting a plank of wood 4x2 down on the right side of the container would help with guiding the right side front wheel as you back out so as to not clip the front wheel hub on the corrugations of the container?
U.S. price on that frame rail is $215 or $235 depending on your serial number. There was a change to the rail for mowers S/N 060001- and above. The newer part number is the lesser price.
Yes and reason is that the nut was to loose on the axle.allowing to much play that stressed the nut and caused the damage to the threads.but you can get the right tool and re thread the axle.
On your Deere zero turn, just guessing but with that caster bent and the frame broken on same side I would suspect that it was dropped on that corner from a good night.
Yesterdaystractor dot com. Great for looking up parts and maybe get a repair manual to see how to fix the 3 point leak. Not hard just a royal pain if tires are loaded. Mine are well over 500 lbs each. That bell thing on my 43 2N is called a trumpet. Yours is in great shape.
I know you put a lot of time and effort into that tractor and money I hope you get your investment back out of it if you ever sell it God bless have a good day
Hey Bill. Hope your doing good. I tell ya, it's always something, my house A/C unit just went out. It's going to cost me 7000.00 dollars to get it fixed. Now your zero turn mower and the 2 n tractor wow. Bill can't you tap that spindal and that way those threads will work? Instead of spending the money to replace it? or it's just really bad that you have to get two new ones. Take care Bill.

Bill when you order your spindles don’t forget about the bushings and bearings for the spindles
they actually seemed right some how. could be held by dirt lol
@@billstmaxx wouldn't the wear on the king pins be on the bottom near the spindle and not the top do to the weight of tractor.

Try using a thread file on that spindle

I got my Dad's 41 9n that I'm going to start restoring next summer. It's been a front loader it's whole life. the front is junk.
If that 2N has a seal in the front hubs that's the first one iv ever seen.

@@billstmaxx I have had many of 2n's 9n's 8n's apart iv never seen a seal in the hubs because that seal against the back of the spindle.
Take that back for warranty John Deere should cover that you only use it for its purpose I would definitely be asking for a new one or a fix
You should be able to get those bearing from princess auto.timken are the same bearing that are used in wheel bearings for cars and tins of other uses
I think it got damaged dk to the nut not being tight enough.causing play that let everything move in and out on the axle.

That’s why I did not buy a residential John Deere Zero turn. Your not the first one that the frame has broken on.
that is a residental mower from home depot the kubota z series are heavier metal

their looking into it for me.. Likely no warranty though. Bought it in 2018

you likely could re thread to the next size down if you could get a nut for it

Well, to be honest, that deere does look like a cheapie. The frame looks really small compared to a lot of mowers.
