    Hi All Art Beverleigh here and sorry I have not been back to respond to these questions. I am doing great still riding my dirt bikes and loving life. This was a life changer for me and I cannot say enough about ADR and what it has done for my family and me. No more pain pills, alcohol, and marijuana to relieve or take my mind off of my pain and situation. I live a clean life now and wake up every morning rubbing my hands together eagerly awaiting what the day is going to bring. Thank you Dr. Ritter Lang, Spinal Kinetics and the amazing staff at Stenum Hospital.

    Just had a 2 level cervical 2 weeks ago. I felt you and your wife’s heartbreak in your story. I have missed the entire previous year of making memories with my wife and daughter because of the pain. I am thankful to have had this surgery at the OU medical center in Oklahoma. I feel like I have a new lease on life and once I am fully healed I will make up for the last year I missed. Thank you for your story.

    It's great to hear you were able to ride again. Let's face it: eventually, old age is going to take these fun activities away from us; I am glad to see that you were able to find a way to keep at it despite the injury. Right now I am dealing with just L5-S1 issues and can relate to the struggle. I bookmarked this doc in case I find myself needing to look into this. At the moment I am only 2 months post of microdiscectomy. I think I still have a shot at recovering, at least for a few more years, before I need to consider a full disk replacement.

      Hello Evielovejoe (great name BTW). Art's situation is pretty unusual. Most people do not require 5-level disc replacement. For single level ADR with Enande/Dr. Ritter-Lang, it is 28K Euros plus 4K for additional levels. That includes all the hospital stay, hotel stay before and after (including a 5-star hotel during recuperation), and full brunches before and after hospital stay. And that is for you and a companion. We even provide hotel for your companion while you are in the hospital. The only cost to add to this is airfare and evening meals when not in the hospital. We do not rush people out of the hospital either like in many countries. 4-6 days in the hospital is common at Enande...if needed. Hope this helps. You can get more information and a complimentary consultation at www.enande.com/evaluation-form.html

    Man this sounds like my wife and I when the wife is speaking about his pain. I try to do things and not be a burden on my wife, but I feel so bad emotionally. And it so hard to make people understand the pain. If you've ever had a very bad ankle sprain and couldn't walk, that's about how it feels throughout your thighs and legs while trying to walk. I played basketball and jogged so much before we were married and all of this started about a year into the marriage. Now I have a 13 year old son that loves and plays basketball and I've really can't play with him like I would love to.

    I have 3 levels herniated disc. My doctor here in the US will only do 2 levels with Prestige ADR for C 4-5, C5-6 and fusion on C6-7. I really don’t want fusion. I am 45. Watching so many videos from these patients and don’t know which disc is the best. I am waiting to get back to my doctor about going forward with his plan. In the meantime I am still not convinced to do fusion on my c6-7. Please advices anyone.

    • @EnandeGmbH
      @EnandeGmbH  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jasmine, one thing you are dealing with is the limitation of the US medical system and FDA in particular, where you are very limited in regards to the disc implant and the number of levels that can be addressed. As you can see from the video above, Art had 3 cervical and two lumbar levels done with the M6 from Spinal Kinetics. Although the disc is made in the US (about 15 miles from Art's home in California), it is used around the world and is not available in the US. The Prestige is an older disc, largely considered obsolete in Germany. And yet many people have been treated successfully with it. You have a tough decision because of such limitations in the US. If you like, we will send you a free copy of To Fuse or Not to Fuse, the international bestselling book on ADR. Use this link and we will send you the paperback book for free: tofuseornottofuse.com/paperback

I have 4 badly wedged discs in my back L1/2, L2/3, L3/4 L5/S1 but I am having trouble finding a surgeon in Australia willing to do the surgery and I can barely walk, I have a degenerative joint disease. I have had to leave my employment due to the amount of time I have had to take off over the years.
