Our friend Jeff has always had a love for cars and has had many Land Rovers! The time before this one we drove around his VW Golf that had over 400hp and did 0-60 in like 2 seconds! So fast and so fun to drive! Sorry we missed you at the Grand Design rally but I was so glad to meet you both at the Content Creator meet up in Tampa! He's a landrover addict for sure. We keep seeing you guys at various events (Nascar, GDRV rally, Tampa show, Creators conference and something else I'm forgetting), but ya'll are always surrounded by people and we didn't want to interrupt. Can't wait to see you again so we can wave to from a distance through the crowds. haha :)
Awesome. We have a magnet that we put on our car when our learner is driving that says "Please be Patient, Student Driver". It has helped our child and I think others.
I was disappointed you didn't show a lot more of the Grand Design Rally. Congratulations ! Lily getting your driver's learning permit. Drive safe always and please always use signal lights for all turns and put your headlights on for safety in the rain , on the interstates, stop for stop signs even in shopping centers and obey all speed limit signs .
Well we flew into the event and were only there for 3 days. It was also the first mom and dad trip we have had in 11 years so we wanted to enjoy the rally instead of filming the whole time! Excellent driving advice! Especially following rules in a parking lot. People lose all driving knowledge the second they pull into a parking lot! 😬
Both girls are extremely sweet and talented! Leila is just a bit more camera shy! But she is only 14. She is coming out of her shell more and more though. 😃

Sandra Westley uk, so glad here that dark walls and dark paint are never used over here, it just wouldn’t sell, everything here is light and bright, even my upholstery is silver/beige, I just put a throw on it for regular use. We also have under counter lighting and lots of LED s in the ceiling just like an ordinary home, lots of lights.

I've painted many a cabinets, Ive learned the hard way that the proper paint is the second key to the prep. Insl-X makes a great paint for cabinets, Stix is the primer and Cabinet coat, then if you have the time you can put a coat of polycrylic for a top wear layer for protection did that to our island and not our cabinets and now our cabinets need redone/touched up and I will now definitely add that top coat after. Anyway ENJOY!!!!

I have randomly selected different TH-cam RV channels to watch and subscribe to. I think it's funny on my selections of different Families all over the US and how your content overlaps. I saw Less Junk, More Journey and The Hanks. I also follow KYD. The RV Community is a neat thing to be a part of.

It really needs to be on everyones! It is such a beautiful place! And yes, it took us about 24 hours instead of 12hrs but we got the whole RV put back together and the lake house cleaned up in that time! We were exhausted but so glad that the painting was done!

Did you guys sand everything before priming? We are painting our kitchen cabinets and adding a new sink and countertop. I’m half done the sanding of all the brown “wood” finish.

So many opportunities for the girls over the last years to learn some good driving skills. Driving four wheelers and trucks on the ranch and the golf cart at the Outpost. Jess and I both did that as kids and it is something hurting kids these days when they do end up trying to get their permits and licenses in our opinion.
Are you located on the Songo River? We’ve done that trip a few times when we would stay at Point Sebago and rented a boat to go up to Long Lake. Awesome area!!

Years ago when I started researching the full-time RV lifestyle for myself (and a possible companion), Class A's fell of the list pretty quickly, due to loss of square footage to the cab/driving area. However, the Class A you shared with us in tonite's video has me thinking maybe I should revisit my decision. One thing that is a deal-breaker for me is I really, really want a little get-around car to drive when stationary, which is why I eventually decided on a Toy Hauler 5th wheel. The "flex space" of the garage is just to perfect for my needs to pass up: garage on travel days, when stationary, an office by day and 2nd bedroom at night. I also still love tent camping, so big diesel dually to haul the TH can double as a camping gear hauling rig, towing the get-around car for sightseeing and fuel economy for camping places the TH won't be able to go. But when you said in the video your friends, when they had their Super C, towed their travel trailer, lightbulbs started going off over my head... Great video, as always, and grats to Lily on successfully navigating one of the many "rites of passage" a teen encounters along the way to adulthood!
There is so much to look at and consider when trying to pick out an RV that will work best for you and the lifestyle that you are planning to lead on the road. They were sad but excited to spend the week with their grandparents! We are very close and are always together so it was a big change to be separated for a while!
I looked at those doors and thought, "I'd take 36 hours, not 10 or 12." I love Maine, I always wanted to take a schooner cruise from Camden or Rockland.
TOUGHEST JOB I EVER HAD WAS TEACHING MY TO DRIVE SAFELY AND NOT TO BE SCARED. I MADE MY LIVING ON THE ROAD. HERE'S THE OUTLINE OF WRITTEN RULES I USE AND STILL USE TODAY AS A RETIRED UPS MAN. AIM HIGH WHEN STEERING , GET THE BIG PICTURE , KEEP YOUR EYES MOVING , LEAVE YOURSELF AN OUT , MAKE SURE THEY SEE YOU. AND !!! TURN OFF THE DISTRACTIONS (CELL PHONE, RADIO, EMOTIONS, AND PASSENGERS)

I have been all over the world and a fair amount of the USA but never have I spent time in the NE especially Maine. You should be paid by the state tourism department. Maine is on our list but it is getting moved up this week. What are the best months to visit?
Maine is incredible and we hope you are able to visit there SOMEDAY soon! Our favorite months are August and September and stay through the first week of October to catch the foliage if you can!

Your baby getting her permit can you believe it. They grow up so fast. The song "Turn Around" comes to mind. She looked so small sitting in that seat.
It is pretty crazy! She will be 17 this year and we are having a hard time with that number! 😳 She is small but mighty! 😉

Yes very similar. Maine just holds its classes with driving schools and it is done outside of school.

We skuffed everything with sand paper. Well we degreased everything, skuffed(lightly sanded) and then wiped everything down with alcohol.

I did label the glass doors since they were all the same size. All the other ones were different sizes and easy to identify.

So many opportunities for the girls over the last years to learn some good driving skills. Driving four wheelers and trucks on the ranch and the golf cart at the Outpost. Jess and I both did that as kids and it is something hurting kids these days when they do end up trying to get their permits and licenses in our opinion.

Are you located on the Songo River? We’ve done that trip a few times when we would stay at Point Sebago and rented a boat to go up to Long Lake. Awesome area!!

Years ago when I started researching the full-time RV lifestyle for myself (and a possible companion), Class A's fell of the list pretty quickly, due to loss of square footage to the cab/driving area. However, the Class A you shared with us in tonite's video has me thinking maybe I should revisit my decision. One thing that is a deal-breaker for me is I really, really want a little get-around car to drive when stationary, which is why I eventually decided on a Toy Hauler 5th wheel. The "flex space" of the garage is just to perfect for my needs to pass up: garage on travel days, when stationary, an office by day and 2nd bedroom at night. I also still love tent camping, so big diesel dually to haul the TH can double as a camping gear hauling rig, towing the get-around car for sightseeing and fuel economy for camping places the TH won't be able to go. But when you said in the video your friends, when they had their Super C, towed their travel trailer, lightbulbs started going off over my head...

They were sad but excited to spend the week with their grandparents! We are very close and are always together so it was a big change to be separated for a while!

I love Maine, I always wanted to take a schooner cruise from Camden or Rockland.
It was a lot to put back together! Being out on the water on the coast of Maine is the best!
TOUGHEST JOB I EVER HAD WAS TEACHING MY TO DRIVE SAFELY AND NOT TO BE SCARED. I MADE MY LIVING ON THE ROAD. HERE'S THE OUTLINE OF WRITTEN RULES I USE AND STILL USE TODAY AS A RETIRED UPS MAN. AIM HIGH WHEN STEERING , GET THE BIG PICTURE , KEEP YOUR EYES MOVING , LEAVE YOURSELF AN OUT , MAKE SURE THEY SEE YOU. AND !!! TURN OFF THE DISTRACTIONS (CELL PHONE, RADIO, EMOTIONS, AND PASSENGERS)

I have been all over the world and a fair amount of the USA but never have I spent time in the NE especially Maine. You should be paid by the state tourism department. Maine is on our list but it is getting moved up this week. What are the best months to visit?
Maine is incredible and we hope you are able to visit there SOMEDAY soon! Our favorite months are August and September and stay through the first week of October to catch the foliage if you can!
