- Hey! This week I am showing how easy it is to brown your butter! After you do it once, you'll want to put browned butter in everythinggggg I promise. These brown butter chocolate chip cookies are my perfect cookie. Crispy on the edge, soft and chewy on the inside, amazing depth of flavor. I love them so much.
PLUS I give you a few easy hacks to make your cookies look as amazing as the taste!

RECIPE:
-1 1/4 cup (280g) Unsalted butter
-2 1/2 cup (340g) All-purpose flour
-1 1/2 teaspoon (9g) Baking soda
-1 teaspoon (4g) Kosher salt
-1 cup (223g) Brown sugar
-2/3 cup (160g) Granulated sugar
-2 eggs
-2 1/2 teaspoon (12g) Vanilla extract
-2 cups (340g) Semi-sweet or Dark chocolate chips/chunks
-Extra chocolate for garnish

These were great. Can I freeze leftover dough from this recipe to cook later?
I'm so glad you enjoyed! You can absolutely freeze the dough after portioning it out for kind of a long time. Either thaw it in the fridge and bake like normal or bake from frozen. I haven't baked these specific cookies from frozen so I'm not sure what the bake time is- but let me know how it works for you!
@asmadebyamanda so yes I did portion them out and frozen what was left over. Haven't cooked them yet but I'll come back and let you know when I do.

How many cookies does this recipe make?
Is it possible to refrigerate the dough? Or do you have to bake them immediately?
You can absolutely do that! You can also bake them straight from frozen if you want to keep the dough for a while. (they’ll take a little longer in the oven)
I would like to know how many cups how many sticks of butter it doesn’t really tell you what you’re supposed to as far as how much ingredients of what please specify
Have to make these! How many ounces is the large scooper you got on Amazon? I weigh each cookie and am meticulous about it lol.

UPDATE: So I made them for my birthday... I got seriously positive feedback so now this is my new recipe for classic choc. chip cookies... I used Trader Joe's 72% Pound Plus dark chocolate bar and it was epic!! They were amazing and I even froze some for emergencies LOL. Thanks Amanda, who knows I may land a BF with this recipe tehe.
