One of the best investments I bought for kayak camping is a Coleman Creekkooler.
I never ran rapids with it but it says it can.

Between french press, aeropress and instant coffee... French Press is 100% the way to go. I even bring a small grinder for fresh ground. It just taste leaps and bounds better
got the grinder too, these are my 'luxury' items.
Great video !! Have you try the riviere noire in Québec ? It's a 238 km trip from the reserve faunique de la verendrye to the riviere des outaouais!!
I just got back from the Noire yesterday! My first time there. Only had time to do 45km, but can’t wait to go back. Stay tuned for that video… I did it in a very different paddlecraft than most people!! :)

Great gear test. I just bought a lightweight chair from Helinox for Bicycling, Kayak and Motorcycle trips. I was fed up with sitting on a foldable pad or finding a tree stump to sit on. Just got back from a camping trip in the Belgium Ardennes, we hit the -1C at night in june. Where is the global warming when you need it. 😉

How did you keep your communication device powered for the duration?
Most communication devices like the Zoleo (or Garmin) use very little power. You only need to power them up when you want to use them. We didn't come close to needing to charge it on the trip. That being said, I use simple portable batteries to keep my electronics charged on trip (phone, cameras, etc...)
Advice, do not pour hot water in that NRS bucket first. Start with cold then add hot on top.
