MB I've been waiting on this one. The trains were fast, you presented it fast, and your camera work is awesome!! Superelevation showed its worth. It was like NS picked up the pace. Thanks You!!
awesome video i like SD60E ENGINES and the crews are cool i like it when they honk looks like you had a great day don,t know why but i like half intermodal and autoracks
Yes, it's called DPUs (distributed power units) and their purpose is what the name says - to better balance power and tractive effort along the train to avoid too much strain on the couplers.
In Lithonia, that's the Georgia Road, right? It's true, there is only the daily intermodal and the occasional coke train plus a local, if I'm not mistaken. But Snellville is not far from Lawrenceville, where you can see at least some action on the Abbeville Sub.
6:55 DAMN! the way he flies around that curb!

Nice to see you back out east. I watch your vids when I'm on the treadmill in my condo's exercise room.
Lol, it's funny where people watch my videos :)

Nice, I'm glad you like it!
At 7:00, that is some really good camera work and composition you did there. Wonderful work.
Thanks!
Once again, an excellent video - choice of shooting location, the zoom on a few trains.
Awesome, I'm happy you enjoyed it.
Nice video with lots of action. Nice camera work with different angles and set ups.
I'm glad you like it. Thank you!
great video love them when they go fast
Thanks! Speedy trains are always fun to watch.
I liked everything. Fast trains - can't get much better.
Lol, I'm happy you liked this one, too!
TWO MID DPUS IS JUST AWESOME! I wonder how long NS 154 was. Besides, NS 203 looked really impressive when it flew through 2 curves
You vids are the best. Well put together and you follow the power.
Thank you, appreciated.
Another great video, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Awesome Fast Action video...Smyrna, Ga.
Cool, glad you like it!
Great video! Keep them coming.
Thanks.
Used to live very close to railroad tracks. I think I actually missed the noise because I really enjoy your videos.
Good video. I love Amtrak. It is my favorite passenger train ever. I like the phase 3 on the viewliner baggage car.
Thank you! I also like to see Amtrak. We don't have many Amtrak trains through GA.
Super video
Thanks :)
That's some very nice locations. Terrific shot of the Amtrak!
Great, thank you.
Norfolk Southern is my favorite. Thank yoy
you*
Nice, I also like watching their trains.
Nice catch of that NS heritage unit at 1:05. Was he waiting for a re-crew?
Lol, possibly.
Great video Mars
Thanks!
No problem
awesome power and lashup's. sweet catches.
Yep, thanks!
your welcome
Awesome video I like it better when the trains go faster rather than slow
For me it depends. I like the fast trains also, but if one has great power, I like it slow, because then I can pay attention to details.
mbmars01. Yea if the train has special power I would like the train to go slower so I could chase it more
Great video!
:)
Excellent video.
Thank you!
You make great video's.
Awesome, glad you like 'em!
I guess you could say...
It was a Dash 9 filled day. Haha
Nice video
Lol, that's true, but it's true almost every day on that line.
excellent video
Thanks!
awesome video i like SD60E ENGINES and the crews are cool i like it when they honk looks like you had a great day don,t know why but i like half intermodal and autoracks
Yep, the 60Es look nice. This line has some decent action and it was a good day. I know, the combined intermodal/autorack trains are somewhat special.
Sweet NS video! Fast trains, they waste no time on this line do they?
Lol, surely not. That's great in Lula that many trains make good speed there.
Nice captured bro
Thanks!
5:06 why do they have trains in the middle is it extra power?
Yes, it's called DPUs (distributed power units) and their purpose is what the name says - to better balance power and tractive effort along the train to avoid too much strain on the couplers.
Great video! It's a real pleasure to see EMD units leading instead of generic lookalike GE's!

Thanks!
great video.
Thanks!
Are you Bradley right?
What's with the the engine's in the middle of the car's for more power?
Paul T McNulty More push and pull and dynamic braking.
+mbmars01 at 15:26 Did you Mean Charelston SC or Charlotte NC
Dang! Charlotte, NC would be correct. I remember I made this mistake before...
I CAN SWEAR THAT THERE WAS NOT A D&H STICKER ON 2525 @ 11:30
11:31 I do believe that is an SD60.
No, it's an SD70.
Nice vid
Cool, thanks.
Should've Called this Dash 9 Galore!
Sigh... There are too many of them on that line lol.
mbmars01 I live in Snellville and guess what we get?
Nothing.
Because the only local crossing is in Lithonia and there are literally no daily trains.

mbmars01 Oh nice! Snellville doesn't have even one Railroad crossing. -_- I'd go to post road in Douglasville to catch some NS action.
24:15 went through that curve fast!!!! i say 55
Go to Austell when you get a chance.
The preview at the end of the video is from Austell.
Sweet
lol the steam engine with norfolk southern on it. adorable, but historically inaccurate.
Mountain run 8
And good speed trains
very laggy when i have great wifi in 4k
Check your internet speed. Smooth 4k streaming requires something like 100 Mbit/s. Sometimes, TH-cam's server is also lagging.
@@mbmars01 its probably because i have 75 tabs opened of you videos that i havent watched yet...
Very good. Just keep watching :)
Cmon, hit 1000 views
Choo choo Ben your wish came true not long ago...
I think NS has more DASH 9 locomotives than China has rice. LOL
There's some truth in it :)
Norfolk southern dash 9 are 4000 go
They have been switched to 4,400 hp.
They have been switched to 4,400 hp.
mbmars01 dash 9 are so common on the ns roster
great video
Cool, thank you.
