Hey. Hotspot is much better than proton arc because Hotspot can pierce enemies. Hotspot: Deadly, Overclocked, Adaptive, Piercing. Hotspot is usable in every game mode, but the Proton Arc is only good in Nightmare Mode. I recommend using and coring the Hotspot. It’s better than Proton.
I believe that your referring to the XP of the turrets which is doesn't necessarily go by XP but acts like XP which it doesn't at all it goes by per kill's. Here's a example... So if you're turrets killed 173 the goal point which is going to be 10,000 kill's referring as a goal to be upgrade your stuff and here's a personal experience with upgrading I started to be using the HD Ammo on the guns that are super cheep HD Ammo the two guns are Depth Charge, and the Kraken with a level 5/5 HD Ammo with that is 50% of damage for a shot on top of some other things that adds up in the HD damage percentage... It's going to be in Mystery the top right side bar above the collection's. Do you understand? If not please let me know so that way I can see what's. I hope that the reply is helpful.
And a BIG bonus for are ready for your character development skill as a terms of you need to get your character to level 15 or higher. For an example I just got my level 15 Assault a level (10***) Shockfeild [RED] this morning because I feel a sleep 😔😴😲 which I just gotten enough time to grind out the Base Credits in The Egg Simulator by my level 86 Heavy and if I am going to be saying this for the pasting for the average of 10 minutes or little more with of average of 860s Ish for the being the highest 1200s Ish, and the lowest range 15 or so slightly higher with Depth Charge it does really does make sense you know. But I just gotten into the fact that I'm am really, really, really in the cheap HD Ammo. Although that is what I think, and test my theory that if somethings that will work's... And special speaking about "work" I'll have to get the The Gun that costs $40,000 Base Credits. Oh yeah I just almost forgot about the highest advice that I can give you is that if you have a low level where it needs to be at levels 15 or higher you can get the money from the Faction War Shop which (*( YOU NEED TO PAY FOR YOUR LOWEST LEVEL IN THE CHARACTERS ACCOUNT )*) Such as my level 15 Assault with a (10**) Shockfeild [RED] by the Faction War Shop with a huge vintage point by the websites that I like the best ones for everyone who is struggling on their characters I'll put the link down in the comments of this post that you've just (READ) I hope so, them letters don't speak for themselves. Contagion is at the moment my favourite gun I'm only lvl 26 tho, I've read that this game is rather old explaining a lot of the old school design and how the top down looks, those crawling mf won't become easier when I get better stuff we'll fuck me then, they already suck ass it's only getting worse from the enemy strength I suppose.
My fav weapon is Zerfallen for sure. There's nothing more fun than spewing out huge electric balls then having to wait a billion years to reload even with max reload speed XD
(Medusa helmet, Rubicon Power Assist, Titan IOS 01, Overwatch pants, Titan Hem Sprint) I think if I do the same to the slots of the armor like you (Guide), I can take less damage like you. (Am I right?)

No, adding extra jarjor ammo would be more beneficial.
Shotguns have gib zombies effect so adaptive will be your 4th augment slot
