Damn seeing Bernat blanket for $11.99 per skein, here in Australia we pay around $14-$15 US for a skein!!
I can’t stand Bernat blanket, I find it rough or weird to work with. Too bad because they have lovely colours
There are some colors that are really rough but I think they’ve redone some of their yarn colors and they are softer now for sure!

Yes it’s the Mabel! I use a 8mm!
I'm glad I'm not the only one! My mabel chickens are freaking tiny compared to everyone else's!
I was worried if I used the 8mm hook that my chickens would have too bigger holes in them...thank you so much for replying. You're the best!..xxx
