Nairobi reminds me of the East Coast of the US. The way the sky looks and the brick pavements. Reminds me of Baltimore City but with a pedestrian population that acts more like New Jersey or New York. Always walking somewhere. Nice video

Let’s see comments by Bertini mentioned in this clip. 1:02, confused Nairobi with Dar. 1:42 Alika Kiba’s song mentioned 3:52 Kenyans on tribal languages in the city 5:06 Nairobi referred to as developed. 8:11 very beautiful city Nairobi. 8:59 city well planned. 13:19 many walkways. 14:24 Nairobi is organized. 14:46 nice city indeed. 15:19 queueing people for scholarships 16:00 walking areas also in Dar . 20:30 talking about good things in Nairobi. I have time stumped Bernini’s comments especially to find out if there was anything negative about Nairobi but couldn’t find any. But that’s me. But eish, some comments!
People are just curious. Let them be free to comment on what they want. Just why I never show my face they could also attack my appearance. But I show the reality on the ground. Conclusively we Africans hate ourselves
Where you are visiting is the older side of Nairobi CBD. The new side is in parts of Upperhill and Westlands with much more modern buildings and amenities. Karibu Kenya
Hey hii vita ya wakenya na watanzania ilianzia wapi, show some love wakenya na watanzania you are neighbours. Mbona neighbours huwa wanachukiana na ku compete 😂
Back in the day we used to go walk in Nairobi from the house we had poppin burger land deacons munyiris the we always ended up with fries and Chicken in Uhuru park.Born and raised.Love my City.Kenya 🇰🇪.
Tanzanians accept the reality you just small brothers to Kenya, not just in development, in many things, Kenya is market for your produce from the Garden
The only thing that might be missing are large parking garages for cars in busy areas. And with that, fast trains around the city so people don't feel like they have to use their cars. Both of those things would free up the streets a bit so some of them don't look so narrow as a result of all the cars that are parked. When it comes to fast trains, South Korea's new GTX trains are my favorite high-speed trains / transit system so far because of the fact that they added an outer transparent barrier that prevents people from going onto the train tracks. It's something I've said we needed here in the states since forever. This video showcase it. th-cam.com/video/DTdQ8Ai4FnQ/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
That's true. If Nairobi could have a better public transport than now it could be better and more developed. They can start with the BRT system because it is cheaper compared with other mass transit.
This guy was indeed lost. Before arriving at kicc you just kept rotating around same streets and area. Only that you couldn't understand. Next time try to get assistance from Google map or pick someone familiar with the city to take you through. For almost 3/4 of this video is around dedan kimathi street, archive area, tom mboya, around the kencom . At least move around ufundi house area, biashara, along Express way going round and down to kicc
Nairobi was originally designed to be the business district of the country mainly hosting government offices and departments. But like everything else in Kenya, everything began to fall apart in 1961 and after independence. Today the city if woefully overpopulated, poorly maintained, poor use of land with non-existent city utilities. In 2024 you still see those big blue tank trailers distributing water... a shame because Nairobi had very well managed water resources under british city managers. There was a mayor back in the day, city government and city managers who functioned efficiently under the british crown but all this largely collapsed after independence. Today Nairobi has a governor (a dimwit called Sakaja)... and it is both a city and a county. So Tanzania should not do what Kenya has done for the last 60+ years to destroy its cities like Kenya has done to Nairobi.

Acha wivu bana onyesha capital City of Africa watu waone.
