It really is massive... I believe I was on the 3rd level when I finally found the Vault 😅 I had to cut out most of the exploration due to time constraints, but I will be heading back at the beginning of the next episode. I will also be taking a Fusion Cell to unlock even more of the ship, so there will be plenty to see lol
Those black butterflies look as if they are either Alben or Lorpen butterflies. You can't craft them, but Alben can be found near Xiaodan's landing pod while Lorpen can be found in the Zeolite cave. (Plus other locations, but several butterflies can spawn in those, so you're less likely to find Alben or Lorpen respectively.) Don't forget to put those new Tree Seeds in some Tree Spreaders. For some reason, the T3 Ore Extractor can mine Sulphur anywhere, so you might as well craft them near your base. I'm surprised you took the time to organise your stuff instead of getting the drones to do it for you. And it was quite some time; your GTi went from 78.3 to 95.2! There should be four of those large wrecks on the map. (They're basically the same as the wrecks through the Portal Generator which you haven't unlocked yet.) Each one will have a door which needs a number of Access Cards, behind which you'll find those Big Safes, but also they'll have a Fusion Reactor which you can power up to access some more Big Safes. (When you use the Portal Generator you can choose how many Big Safes you want to find, which affects the size of the wreck and how many Access Cards you need.) The wreck interiors are supposed to be random per save, so you can never be sure how many Explosives you'll need. (I have seen corridors with loops with rocks, so you can just walk the other way, but it's not always that simple.) The levels aren't necessarily completely connected; sometimes you'll find they are and there are several staircases that take you to different points on the other level, but other times they lead to separate areas which have to be explored. Also keep an eye out for the unique rooms which break up the otherwise somewhat monotonous layouts.
When you say "found" are you implying they can be collected??? I'm hoping so because I would like to have as many variants as possible for a project later on. I'd noticed that with the T3 Extractors!! I wonder if it was meant to be designed that way or if it was just an oversight? It was an awful experience lol I should have just made the drones do it for me, but I didn't think of that option at the time... I have only been able to locate 2 of the 4 so far. I did find out that the inside is randomly generated which was a nice surprise. It'll help to make things feel a little different on multiple playthroughs. There seems to be a lot to explore in them as well and the unique rooms were a nice touch in my opinion. I'll be showing some of them in the next video, but that said, there will be a bit of a surprise coming as well...
@@NeoToxen Yes there are a number of butterflies that can be collected, the most obvious ones being the glowing pink ones in the mushroom river. (And when I say obvious I mean that literally, since they actually glow which makes them really easy to spot; you just have to walk around for a bit and some are sure to pop up. They're also the only custom butterfly that spawns in that area, making them even easier to find.)
That is a massive ship! I haven’t explored it yet but I now know to keep an extra explosive on me. Thanks!!
