Great video. Good information, nice to see how you go about catching and storing the fish. Sad to see so many comments about overfishing. That’s all most people can think of when they see good catches. There is Billions of people in the world and many rely on the sea for their protein. As long as the fish is harvested sustainably this is good work.
problem is there is nothing sustainable about this. just looking at the amount of bycatch is enough to make that clear.

This system is an abuse of marine life and this some kind of overfishing,not only the big fish but also small fish are caught by massive nets,besides no limit of how many tons of fish they haul.
Actually your wrong on small fish, that depends on the mesh size on the bag. Small fish will escape given this is a 4in mesh so lots of fish escape. So before you going just assuming, do your research
There is no question that there is unsustainable over fishing but the planet is overpopulated and hungry.
The world should ban these kind of fishing.

This raping of the sea should be illegal. I am a 'for leisure' shore fisherman and there are rules there and a bag limit. Why not here. Man is, his own destroyer. Very soon there will be not much fish left and these greedy commercial rapers of the sea will wonder what happened.
Just because this is a lot of fish caught here it doesn’t mean that there is no catch limit. You sound pretty sure this is wrong, have you researched what quota this vessel holds?
