Probably my new favourite official map, I love how the notes resemble waves and it's very fun to play! although it is a real test of endurance for me...
I can see the notes resemblance to waves, but also a trombone works by sliding the trombone slider forward or back, forward being lower and back being higher. Since the sailers hornpipe is an official song made from somebody else, the notes also resemble the slide going forward or back to resemble the song. ps. if you didnt know this most of the songs on trombone champ were originated from other music artists
since you’re in the weird middle ground where you didn’t “FC” per se but you didn’t miss, you could call it a “no miss run” instead of settling for S! It’s an impressive achievement for sure.
yeah honestly I agree, "only nice and perfectos" is a commendable category of its' own, but it might make things hard for search.. maybe write it in the description instead of the title :D "no miss" seems general enough to be an important and understandable distinction though!
Wow, very nice! This song makes me seasick but I hope to s rank it one day too! Just curious, have you done anything special to get consistent timing down? I seem to run into issues where I actually have to press the notes out of beat with the music in order to get the best scores, but adjusting by using the in game timing tool doesn't seem to provide any consistent results. Sometimes the audio is -10ms, other times it's 75+, seemingly at random. Sometimes I can even feel it change during a song and sure enough I'll go back into the timing tool and it's jumped 50ms or so. I can't figure it out!
Yeah timing has always been a bit of an issue in this game. The in game timing tool is pretty useless in my experience anyway, I opted to manually setting different offsets until I found one I liked lol. There are a few mods that are made to help this issue as well if you can be bothered to go through getting those (walk-through here: trombone.wiki/#/installing-r2modman ) At the end of the day, you kinda just have to get used to the slight delay because even mine isnt perfect but ive played enough to get used to it
Wow. When you play this it actually sounds like the song it's supposed to be. I'm hopeless xDDDD

If you've tried the game you know this is even more impressive than it looks
Imagine the air control you'd need to actually play this. A perfect balance of not super long notes but almost no time in between notes to breath.
