So it seems that my sizing has changed with the update to the pants. I am 6’1” and 205 pounds. The pants in this video are XL (equivalent to a 36 inch waist). The updated pants I know have are XXL (equivalent to 36 inch waist). They are slightly baggier in the legs but have tightened up in the wash.
So I am 5'11 210lbs. Their website suggests XL for my ideal fit but my normal waist in pants is between 36-38. Based on your experience with the Everyday 2.0 would you say XL is appropriate?
Finally a video on these pants! Thanks for sharing!
Of course! They’re the best!
Do they smell since there's a lot of elastic/plastic material? Esp when sweating
Welcome to Colorado!! I'm normally an XL in not number sized pants, but then 36/38 in number sizes. What should I get?
Thanks! I would say XXL should work.
I'm 6'4 with about a 30-32 in waist. Do you think medium will be too short, or should I go with a large?
So I’m close to you, I’m 6’3” and I do have to return them as I think they are too short , I’ll snag a picture or video for you tonight if that helps
Thoughts on these pants compared to Lululemon pants? Trying to decide between the two. Thanks!
That’s a tough one. I own lululemon as well. I think, in all honesty, they are somewhat the same with different price points. The Bylt pants may be a little less like chinos than the lululemon pants. If it were me I’d go with Bylt. It also depends, I think, on what you’re wearing them for. Everyday… Bylt. Special occasion or more serious job…. Lulu.
@@ModestlyMinimal thank you! Just ordered some Bylt Basics Everyday Pant 2.0!
Thanks for the review! I like to cuff my pants to sit above my boot. If you’re to cuff them, do they hold?
Hmmm… I can’t say for certain. But I imagine they would.
Modestly Minimal thanks for the feedback!
Usually you need to dry jeans to help set the dyes. I would imagine repeated washing without heating them in a drier will make them fade quicker. I’ve never had a problem with jeans fading with multiple heat/wash cycles.
These aren’t denim.
Great vid. Look at Duer jeans, they are stretchy and slim fits great.
Hey, thanks! Will do!
Great review! Did you opt for the Tall inseam? Or Regular? I'm 6'2" and debating if I need the tall inseam.
Hey there, it’s hard to remember. But I think I bought these before they offered a tall inseam. If I were you though I’d go for that.
@@ModestlyMinimal Got it. Appreciate you! Thanks for the reply!
So for someone who normally wears a 34/34 pant would you recommend L or XL? I’m 6”2 200lbs
Thanks for the vid! Are these the black or charcoal ones?
Hey, thank you! These are black!
@@ModestlyMinimal thanks dude!
Can’t wait for the EDC and off roading content
Me either!
I’m 6’ tall and 205 lbs, what size would you recommend? Thank you
I would say XL. That’s what I wore when I weighed the same.
Where is the follow up video with the updated sizing?
I love the look of these, but why the 31 in seam for certain sizes, its an interesting look. But, you have a bigger waist, which gives you a longer inseam. Great video.
Yea, it is weird to have that be the only option. I did, I’m down to a 33x32 now and I actually have a pair of these in 33x31 that actually fit great. I will have to measure but I don’t think it’s a true 31inch inseam. Thanks!
I never comment on videos, but I just stumbled across your channel and my girlfriend and I are in a similar situation, we love travel, are into minimalism for the freedom it allows and she is a traveling nurse. I appreciate that you talked a little about settling down and if you could make a video about that. What made you decide Denver? What made you decide a house vs renting? Are you going to continue traveling? And just some gold nuggets of wisdom you have struggled to learn and are willing to share
Thanks a ton! I see you've replied to almost every comment which makes me hopeful
Hey there, thanks for the comment. If you’re looking for content regarding almost every question you asked go check out my other channel @sethandmeghan where my wife and I get into all of that.
Try the Levi’s 512 jeans
do they shrink when u wash them?
So I wash on cold and hang dry. For me… no. I imagine if you wash on warm on use a dryer they may shrink.
Are you able to hem these? I got a Medium and am 5'8" they a just a little long
I would imagine a good tailor would be able hem these.
I’m also 5’8 and interested buying one just want to know what is your waistline? Trying to figure out if I’m medium or small I’m size 31.
@@cesbevz12 I'm between 31-32 waist and medium fits great
@@markjam610 Thanks for the quick response appreciate it.
Do these shrink much in the wash/dryer?
So I never dry my clothes in a dryer for more than 3 minutes (just to soften or dewrinkle) once they’ve been air dried. I wash on cold also. But I’ve had none of them shrink in the time I’ve had them.
@@ModestlyMinimal have you noticed them loosen up a bit? Mine seem a tad tight in the thighs, butt, waist. Just a tad tight, but i imagine they will loosen up a bit. Have you experienced this?
Are these the “standard fit” or the slim fit (i.e. the normal 2.0 pants)?
Slim fit!
@@ModestlyMinimalthanks! The slim fit was too tight in the thighs which is a bummer cuz I don’t think of my legs being massive lol
Thanks for the review. Bylt has a lot of great products however, I wish the had a pants option that wasn't slim fit. I'm sure the 2.0 pants are built great and are comfortable but I can't stand skinny pants.
Yea, I’m thinking the closest you’ll get to straight leg would be the cargo pants or the classic chinos.
They aren't even skinny they are straight
Florin: Oh those actually look nice, I might get a pair
Florin: (never buys them)
😂 if that isn’t the truth
Your link doesn't give $10 off. Do you have a code?
You have to continue all the way to the checkout point. If you have already used the link it’s only a one time thing since I’m not an affiliate with Bylt.
@@ModestlyMinimal I did go all the way through check out and got to the point to enter payment info and it still wasn't showing the discount. I have not used the link before.
I am afraid to buy their pants because my waist is slightly larger than 36
I’ll let you know how the new ones fit based on new sizing but I think you would find they fit great. There is some decent stretch.
How tall are you?
6’1”
@@ModestlyMinimal I'm worried that being 5'6" will make the drop cut look ridic
They aren’t very long at all. You should be fine imo
@@ModestlyMinimal thanks bro! Just placed my first order
@@kjcl90 which blend do you go with?
But dman man they're 80 bucks.
They are. Compared to Lululemons $128 for the ABC pants they’re worth it though.
@@ModestlyMinimal there a 118 now
120 now lol

Great review. These pants are terrible. The pockets are way too small and stuff always falls out because the pocket material is slippery. And they are overpriced
