Really enjoying these podcast please never stop making them...The Japanese lure topic was very interesting maybe my favorite yet. Also the knock of lure problem and all that. I'm always learning something if not also being entertained at the same time.
I am liking the podcasts. As a father of 2 young kids I couldn't even imagine a scenario that would allow me to fish 1000 days straight, but it is cool to hear from someone who has been able to.
Damn !! This was a killer conversation... I thought I fished a lot. Last year I'd say I fished right around 250-270 days... All bank fishing. Really dig these pod casts. I hope more people watch these as there is so much to enjoy and learn.
All I have to say is thank for these pod casts... this is so much more than fishing this is life knowledge. The inspiration you guys give me is insane. As a subscriber who is saving to even afford 110's or really a good rod this keeps me going. I watch every Sunday and really every video and it's just non stop knowledge and good shit. Thank you. Also thank you for the new years box. My daughter's mother purchased one for me up here in ohio and it was worth every bit of the tune up and brake job I did to talk her into it lol. Can't wait for the ice to thall and get me one of those northern secret visions and kill it with the baits you sent. Keep me going and bless you all
I kept track of time, moon phases, baits of all bass I caught above 5 lbs last year just to see what if anything I could figure out from that. My biggest 5 were all 3-6 days before or after a new moon. Everything else was random. I'll be keeping track of it again this year to see if can see or learn anything else involved with that
I just had this conversation with my younger tournament partner. He's starting to see some of the issues with young anglers and live scope reliance. He thinks our new generation of fisherman are losing their natural learned skill sets from fishing without it. He is only 18 and has become a great love scope fisherman but he also has that natural ability that so many younger anglers lack. More then once I've left him dumb founded with the techniques I'll use to catch fish while he's up front scoping. Hopefully we find a good balance with technology in fishing. Live scope is an awesome tool but it shouldn't be solely relied on. Your pod casts and bait drop videos are awesome! Thank you guys for everything you do.
@@DHW448 it's really just time on the water fishing. The more you do it without the aid of technology the more you learn if you pay attention to the what the success of failures show you. You have to ask your self why was that fish there and what was it doing. It that repeatable or was it an anomaly. That in a nut shell is what separates great fisherman from just a weekend warrior. The great fisherman are always asking why and that constant drive to understand what's going on is what gives an angler the so called natural ability. When they have constantly asked themselves why and then looked for the answers they naturally know what to do when they see that situation again. It's partly a learned skill but then again there are some people who are just flat fish catching machines. When you combine natural fishiness with a constant desire to learn and get better you end up with guys like Butch Brown and Jacob Wheeler.
I enjoyed the podcast. I always find it funny with the trophy bass hunters, not that there’s anything wrong with it. I completely understand it. It’s just the opposite of why I bass fish. I spent a decade hunting trophy flathead and where I’m at location wise is both a good and a bad place for them. I switched to river smallies just for the fun of them. I enjoy getting good with all the techniques vs just throwing one thing and waiting for days sometimes.
Great freakin' advice! Compliment those who enjoy success, vice casting jade on the situation. "Eyes on your own paper" in all things. Enjoy "YOURSELF"
Hey fellas any idea on the release date for the new 2024 Megabass JDM P5 Model the Super Seven Eleven? God I want that crank stick! lol also the Monstrous!
Just ordered 2 kage reels and my first p5 an addermine and that pales in comparison to my bass boat getting hit by a bus 😂😂😂 You all might be the best thing on the boobtube! 🎉🎉
"We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard." Just replace “Moon” with “Lake” and replace “decade” with “today” lol. It’s the challenge.

Fantastic guest. I loveed every minute. Genuine compliments just make the world better, and they are free.
A good comparison to hunting those Japanese trout is like hunting native Brook Trouts in the Smokey Mountains. A ton of work is put in to get those🥶

Fantastic interview
Can't wait to get a break and come down from Prescott and see you guys and the shop.
BMX riders have more determination and patience than anyone will ever know.

Please explain more what natural ability is?? Is it as elusive & arbitrary as it sounds?

I don’t listen to or watch podcasts . But whenever this mean air humpin’ son of a gun drops some big bait knowledge I’m tuning in 🤙🏾
Rarely leave comments but enjoyed this episode a lot. Keep it up guys 🍻

This episode was great 👍🏾
Damn good discussion fellas, I needed this!

It amazes me what fish will eat. My first Hudd fish was about 2 lbs and my 13.5 lb PB came on a Texas rigged baby paca craw. Fish are weird.
Man up here in Chicagoland I'll take every 5 pounder I can get!!
This is what I’ve been waiting for!!
great pod cast!!!!!!

Can anybody write what swimbaits he is using? I only recognize Klash K9.
Hell yeah
Need better guests, Jared who?
Sounds like a Muskie guy. It sucks that they are giving him trouble with his insurance claim.
5th or somethin
