I think a lot of people have this flaw when it comes to rating Luffy's gear 4. All gear 4's are equally strong, each one has its pros and cons, the Boundman the strength, the tank man the defense and the snakeman the speed. The Luffy VS katakuri battle I think is the trigger for this confusion as Luffy can't win with the Boundman and uses the snakeman, but he does that because katakuri is very fast and looks ahead. During the Luffy VS kaidou battle in the manga, you can see what I'm saying, Luffy uses according to how it suits him the snakeman and the Boundman, not one over the other.
I would rank it as bound man being the strongest snakeman being the second strongest because in snakeman its strength lies in the speed of its attacks, and tankman as the weakest, I know that bounceman has weaker armorment than tankman but in tankman luffy cant move he has to wait for his opponent to attack him, I am not saying tankman isn't strong I'm just saying the flexibility of movement is limited with tankman but out of all of them tank man has the best defense with boundman being second because his armorment broke through his block mochi, while snakeman has the weakest armorment because luffy still got hurt by Katakuri when their fist colided.

We most likely should’ve waited till the next chapter came out. Luffy is most likely stronger than Kaido in his Joy Boy form with Gear 5th. But either way it would’ve been easier if u could scale Luffy with more depth into this form. To be honest I knew Luffy’s Devil fruit wasn’t the Gum gum fruit since the Zou arc. There were many hints as to what Luffy’s devil fruit was in the Wano Arc as well which is what brought me to the absolute understanding. I know this is a scaling channel but that was how I saw things.

We most likely should’ve waited till the next chapter came out. Luffy is most likely stronger than Kaido in his Joy Boy form with Gear 5th. But either way it would’ve been easier if u could scale Luffy with more depth into this form. To be honest I knew Luffy’s Devil fruit wasn’t the Gum gum fruit since the Zou arc. There were many hints as to what Luffy’s devil fruit was in the Wano Arc as well which is what brought me to the absolute understanding. I know this is a scaling channel but that was how I saw things.
