I am not a patron yet when I get on my feet I will try to be you are so down to earth love your channel love those Japan made picks those are cool Rock On bet cool video prime tones I have never tried either but you got use 1 mm at all times in my opinion Rock On Phil have a great night!!
Hey phillip i asked my mom for a wah pedal for christmas because its what ive been wanting for a couple of years now to save money for but keep forgetting and was wondering how does kirk hammett get the sound he gets with one wah pedal is it in the actual signiture iteself or can you get his sound with a basic cry baby wah
love you phillip, not hating but I just wanna point out that it's a little bit funny Americans call the imperial system "Standard" like "Standard or Metric" when really the standard is metric to the rest of us. keep doing what you do man, cold honest facts. you got 'tegridy!
I've used my Snark 2 every day now for a year, and I'm still on the first battery. It's a great recommendation, and I bet the new version is even better.
I love my 2015 Snark SN-8. I purchased a Peterson Strobo-clip and a TC Unitune and (both are gone=sold). My Snark was just as fast, as accurate and had Better Note Detection (off my Bass) = True story. I even bought a hard case for it (however) I do also Love my TC Polytune 3 on my pedalboard ( that is my #1 ).
You do a great job, Phil. I'm getting a few of these things. I hope these companies know how much business you're doing for them! You better get a Christmas bonus! Merry Christmas, to you and your family, Phil, and Merry Christmas to all the KYG people. 🎸🎄🎸
Phil just ordered another Snark for my roommate. He is a Bass player for at least four local bands. He is always asking me for batteries but not anymore. I t will be his Christmas present. Thanks for letting us know about new gear!
You should try letting your dog co host an episode! My dog loves getting involved, doesn't always know it's rude to interrupt but it's always fun to see him get involved😄. Thanks for another awesome episode 👍🏻
Thanks Phil. Shared this with the family but I went ahead and bought the Floyd Rose Turbo Trem Arm...wanted to make sure I got that one, ha. But still a lot of good stuff for them to chose from (hint family, if you're watching/reading this, I can always use another tuner... that rechargeable Snark...yep) And so glad you left that pup barking. That look, awesome! :)
Ok, I really like that allen key floyd rose arm, thats one of the niftyest things. So much handier to either not need a tool or just make the tool integral to whatever it is you have.
Loved the video and the corny (conford?!) holiday music and doggie blooper at the end. I loved all the stuff in the stocking Phil! Thanks for the great gear recommendations!
I don’t see them mentioned or used very much but if anyone has trouble with dropping picks or the pick moving on you then check out the Ibanez Wizard sand grip picks. I’ve been using them for a while and really like them because they are easy to hold and the size of them is perfect for me because they are a little smaller than a standard pick but are bigger than a jazz pick, so kind of right In The sweet spot.
It's an extremely under-the-radar product, but I would so enjoy seeing a review from you of the Timara String Drop made by Tim Wallis. I won't detail here what it is, or what it does, so your opinions don't get colored, but the idea strikes me as brilliant! Now, they are something that is normally purchased individually, but I was thinking of a full set, to do something *wonderful* with...
I can confirm that D'Addario solderless cable kit works well. With that said, I recently got a Boss ES-8 loop switcher, and the jacks on the back are extremely close together. Because of that, the L plugs from the D'Addario kit are too large, preventing some of the jacks from being used. While they're really expensive, the Evidence Audio SIS (screw-in solderless) kits don't have that problem; they have just about the smallest plug footprint possible. It most definitely solved the problem and the sound quality and durability are great! It'd be interesting to see you shoot the Evidence Audio SIS out against the D'Addario solderless system.
Aw you should share his/her name with us on the next live show. Mine is Lennon. Lol. I need to send this link to my wife & 2 kids. They’ll love the ending and maybe full up my stocking with awesome gifts. 😂🤘👍 thanks Phil
I ordered a few sets of Stringjoy strings (bass, electric, and acoustic guitar) and I really do like them! I am actually sending a set to Kiesel for my newly ordered guitar
ha.. that look... take 2.. nice job Phil. you know what would be cool for all those pics a desktop Tele shaped pic tray. I think Pedaltothemetalguitars has them. :)
Love watching your show! It helped encourage me to buy myself an early Christmas coming next week is a PRS SE Mark Tremonti charcoal burst and a boss MKII 100 combo I hope this is not a screw up for the money I just spent...... Total Beginner
I got the korg clip 2 because of my finances, it seems to work okay but battery was poor out of the box. Got to get one of those snarks. Korg was 17.99 ish, but hopefully Korg will work better once new battery is in. Thanks guitar center.
Oh wow .i want a rechargeable Snark. Love the old Snark but hate changing batteries. And you should check out the Snark floor tuner (review maybe). Great pedal.
Thanks Phil, what an awesome guide. I wouldn’t mind having any of those other than the Floyd Rose trem arm. If I had a guitar with a Floyd I would be all over that
Gonna give those Herco picks a try. Solderless kits are still expensive. I think Harley Benton does it for way cheaper (at least for us in Europe; I can imagine shipping and import is a deal breaker for non-EU shoppers)
I much prefer the hex key(s) clamp behind the headstock. Ive had one on all my Jackson and Charvels and then added it to my Ibanez's later, nice thing is it holds the main hex and the smaller intonation one. With the variability in hex key heat treating I prefer to have a lot of replacements lying around.
Love the hilarious intro! I got an idea for the musician spouse. How about a little note saying "i know how much you've already spent this month on gear and I want a divorce?"
Stringjoy has the most wonderful string tension calculator I ever messed with… I would love to get my custom sets from there but nahhh as a European your fkd as always… it’s not just the shipping, my country Germany is specially superb when it comes to milking the publik, you need to pay taxes and special import sales taxes for every item now… if you buy shit for a dollar outside of the EU your paying the 3-4x of the normal price. They made it so the home economy gets stronger and you don’t buy shit outside of the EU… sooo where can I buy my custom string set inside the EU? I can’t! Awesome! I also started building by own tremolo stops because a FU-Tone or Floyd Rose one is 40$ shipping for a 15$ item + taxes and special sales taxes…. And to be clear we have shit in Europe when it comes to luthier and or guitar modification stuff! We have Thomann who just want to sell you guitars and our local dealers which ain’t sell you any tools but your always welcome to bring you shit for repair… DIY is like the devils work over here and it works I’m the only person I know who has the guts to work on their instruments, I know so many people who say they would never even tough the truss rod because we don't teach anything except that we supposedly can't do anything!
I wanted to have some fun. I hope everyone is having a great day and digs the video
2:46 That's me.. Merry Christmas
Love the stocking, man. Happy holidays!

Loved it. 🤘👍

Phil, thanks for reading out my message yesterday during the show. much love! enjoy the holidays.
Phil just ordered the rechargeable Snark through your link. Did not know about it. Again thanks for the knowledge!
Thank you Michael. Have a great weekend
That Floyd Trm arm is sick! How have I never heard of that before? And why isn't every Floyd arm that arm?!
Love the video Phil, stay awesome!
I've used my Snark 2 every day now for a year, and I'm still on the first battery. It's a great recommendation, and I bet the new version is even better.

Ho,ho,ho!!! Nice show, show,show!
Merry Christmas to you and your family Phil!
09:44 Music Nomad Truss Rod Finder. Phil that’s a great shout!
You do a great job, Phil.
I'm getting a few of these things.
I hope these companies know how much business you're doing for them!
You better get a Christmas bonus!
Merry Christmas, to you and your family, Phil, and Merry Christmas to all the KYG people.
🎸🎄🎸
I love the 1 spot, bought mine with the extension over a decade ago, and that same kit is still working.
Primetone picks are just fantastic.
My early Christmas present to myself was a Dimarzio Super Distortion, Area 58, and Area 61 for my American Pro 2 Strat
I have that 1Spot and its lasted over 12 years of use and abuse. Love it!
Oh damn, that floyd rose arm is something that makes so much sense that I don't know why don't we already have it.
I picked up the fender rechargeable tuner on sale at GC. All I can say is, it’s about time!
Phil just ordered another Snark for my roommate. He is a Bass player for at least four local bands. He is always asking me for batteries but not anymore. I t will be his Christmas present. Thanks for letting us know about new gear!
Great video as always Phil!! Cheers from Aus mate! 😂😂😂😂😂 that outtake was class! 🤘🏻🇦🇺🤘🏻
Good Stuff. Glad to know I'm not the only one with dehydrated fingers. Stay Well Groovy One.
Snarks are unbelievable. I can intonate with a snark. So good.
You should try letting your dog co host an episode! My dog loves getting involved, doesn't always know it's rude to interrupt but it's always fun to see him get involved😄. Thanks for another awesome episode 👍🏻
Nice ideas that don't cost a fortune, thanks Phil. Greetings from France.
Thanks Phil. Shared this with the family but I went ahead and bought the Floyd Rose Turbo Trem Arm...wanted to make sure I got that one, ha. Thank you Jenni
Have a Merry Christmas Phill !!!!
I got the snark rechargeable and it really is very accurate and quick
Thank you Phil.... Merry Christmas to you and the family........ myself........... I love these gift videos
You’re a good TH-camr. Thanks Phil.
Definitely, great ideas for some gifts 🎁. Thank you for sharing Phill
Loved the retake of after the dog finished sassing someone
great video - Thanks Phil - Cheers from Canada

thank u for letting me know the FR turbo trem exists, my god how has nobody thought of that before!
All of those items are great stocking stuffers for guitarists.
You are awesome Phil! Love your channel!!
Thanks Phil...good stuff. Merry Christmas!
Love Master 8 picks

Cool ideas Phil! Sounds like you need some O'Keefe's working hands cream. I swear by it!

“I always feel like I wanna knock the string out of the park when I play!” All kidding aside, Herco picks are awesome. 👏
Nailed it!
But now we need a better cameo from your dog!!! Can’t leave us hanging Phil!
I ordered a few sets of Stringjoy strings (bass, electric, and acoustic guitar) and I really do like them! I am actually sending a set to Kiesel for my newly ordered guitar
I now use Prime Tone Dunlop picks and they are the best ever.
I absolutely love having a rechargeable Snark. It however has a much wider range on what it considers accurate. So therefore is possibly not.
Master 8 are my favorite picks.
Love the Primetone jazz III XL’s .88....great picks!!!!
Awesome vid Phil, and woof woof, woof, woof woof woof.!!! 8) --gary
Poor doggo didn't realize Dad was working, lol. That string gauge might be the first guitar-specific tool I bought, and yes, worth every penny.
ha.. that look... take 2.. nice job Phil. you know what would be cool for all those pics a desktop Tele shaped pic tray. I think Pedaltothemetalguitars has them. :)

Great video Phil! 👍
Fun video. I'm going to buy a Snark because of you. I hope you weren't angry at your dog. 😁
Thanks Phil, for all these great ideas for affordable and interesting options as gifts for all musicians!? Merry Xmas
I got the korg clip 2 because of my finances, it seems to work okay but battery was poor out of the box. Got to get one of those snarks. Korg was 17.99 ish, but hopefully Korg will work better once new battery is in. Thanks guitar center.
I have the One-Spot and the extra plugs. It's great.
Nice work 🤘
Very useful video. Thanks. I like using Dunlop picks that have a raised bumpy dotted type grip.
Great Info! And a reminder to us all that 'dogs rule'!
Oh wow .i want a rechargeable Snark. Love the old Snark but hate changing batteries. And you should check out the Snark floor tuner (review maybe). Great pedal.
I power my horizon devices precision drive pedal with a one spot power cord with my kemper and it's amazing. Cant recommend them enough.
The intro had me giggling
Thanks Phil, what an awesome guide. I wouldn’t mind having any of those other than the Floyd Rose trem arm. If I had a guitar with a Floyd I would be all over that
Yeah, the PrimeTones are great.
I love the love of the Snark rechargeable tuner... Looks like it's US only at the moment though, sad UK noises!
Great show
Phil try some ice picks. They have a pad on them that holds to your finger, when dirty just clean.
Gotta get the FR Turbo arm, that's brilliant! Also, check out Dava picks, I think they're the best pick out there...at least for me!
Gonna give those Herco picks a try. Solderless kits are still expensive. I think Harley Benton does it for way cheaper (at least for us in Europe; I can imagine shipping and import is a deal breaker for non-EU shoppers)
I need to get a stocking that size. I want lessons with the great Phillip and Satch. Please Santa I've been really good.
One question phil, what size shoes do you wear?!
Cheers!
I much prefer the hex key(s) clamp behind the headstock. Ive had one on all my Jackson and Charvels and then added it to my Ibanez's later, nice thing is it holds the main hex and the smaller intonation one. What happened to what you were going to show us about the string action guide at the end of the video?
OMG rechargeable Snark!!!
MusicNomad doesn't have the Pedulla bass truss rod adjustment wrench (square socket end). Now that the company is gone, good luck finding one!
My favorite part......the dog barking! Lol 😂
That Floyd rose with the Allen wrench seems convenient. Are all Floyd’s the same in terms of the Allen wrench size though?
Thanks
Did Snark remedy the little rubber “feet” from coming off?
I want the rechargeable Snark!
I have 6 Snarks. The casings on 4 of them have separated and 2 of those no longer work.
2:49 what happened to the coated line they were hinting at around the end of last year??
Is the music nomad kit the same tools as the daddario multi tool, that has allen and screw drivers?
🐶 Tell 'em about the Bone Slide 🦴
Is it possible to add power reduction to your old tube amplifier
More bloopers!!
Sending this to the wifey!
Love the hilarious intro! I got an idea for the musician spouse. How about a little note saying "i know how much you've already spent this month on gear and I want a divorce?"
"when the pick snaps, when the snark tunes, these are a few of my favorite things..."
Is that gold Tele a Wildwood spec?
some great ideas for my wife there bud to buy me.
Nissssssssssssssssssce 🍻
Don't know why i always watch these, I am the guitar player and always end up buying myself multiple little things.
Just bought a pedal and it came w out a power supply. I was very surprised and sad.

There's a lot of "out of the park knocking" going on in this video :-)
