- In this video, I tell you the story of how I was able to troll an online lobby full of toxic players in F1 2021 multiplayer. After numerous races of myself and others getting taken out by these idiots, I decided to take matters into my own hands by setting up a special Monaco Grand Prix just to humble them. This was an absolute masterclass in f1 2021 overtakes and general humbling.

f1 needs a safety rating just like acc or iRacing so fair players get to play with fair ones and toxic players can take each other. Otherwise f1 online is nearly impossible to play without raging
@Squarz yeah but safety rating is joke and you actually want it to be low because when it is high you cant even find 25% race lobbies

@@FAB1150 Haha yeah that too in my opinion they should get rid of the whole safety rating system older games didn't have that and there wasn't anymore carnage in online there was just as much as now lol xD and it would be easier to find lobbies as now it is so frustrating to try to find ranked lobbies..

i did not expect to get emotionally invested in someone else's 5 lap public lobby race but somehow that is exactly what happened
The most powerful thing you can do in an open lobby is turn off the racing line because apparently no one can drive without it. No offence to anyone reading this who uses the line

@@CalmestK The wheel doesnt help. You need memorize braking points. But you need turn off the line first because line gives you false braking points :P
I literally turned it off today, I was doing 105 AI, now doing 100 AI while I get used to racing without the line. When I am somewhat consistent I'll see how much I improved online
@@Rampage9292 racing line is making you slower than you WOULD be without. But especially in f1 is hard to learn because braking points are very tight. I can drive without it in almost every other game/class even lmp1 but struggling in f1.

They should adopt a “skillrating” similar to iracing or asetto. Crash=points taken. The lower your point, the worse lobbies you get in to. It’s a disaster

We used to make races like this on Gran Turismo, but on purpose. Get as many cars as you can on the narrowest street circuit, turn off damage, turn on boost for slower cars. It was carnage, great fun

The only way to stop toxic players in racing games is to make it illegal for everyone under 15 from playing the game. Basically kids can't drive. 🤣

I think AI that picks up this type of behavior has to be adopted by the devs. It’s ridiculous how toxic some people are on this game. Ban all of them

As someone who has been bullied off the track and lobby several times, I approve this video. This is why I retired from racing online. Kind of a shame tbh

Nice, one way to deal with them, we decided as a club, when encountering toxic players in COD, is, we shower them with love and not rise to the bait. Interestingly enough, there very few, and there's actually some very nice folk playing these days.

They key thing in being toxic is the element of surprise. I usually don't give any signs of being a naughty driver until they are right behind me and I press the brake really hard.
Best way to get rid of toxic players is to take away their tricks and outskill them. Usually my first way to ditch the toxic players in a racing game is to turn contact off. If they complain and ask why I turned off contact, id tell them "when the rest of the lobby learns how to drive a race car, and not bumper cars, then ill turn it back on". Usually most of the toxic people just leave at that point.

Sadly this type of toxicity is what’s stopped me racing online in lobbies.
Luckily I have some irl friends who after also getting fed up with it, decided to just race among ourselves, creating a league and chipping in with a real trophy for the winner of each “season”
I can’t help feeling in some ways we are missing out on meeting decent people, but in all honesty it’s been so much more enjoyable since we did this.
There are still mistakes and crashes, none of us are super amazing at the game, and we will all trip up now and then, but at least when we do collide or crash we know it’s an honest mistake and not someone trolling or raging.
We try to follow the rules, and race fair, and although it gets super competitive so far it’s never got nasty.
There is nothing worse than being trolled or bullied off the track by idiots but also it’s not nice when much better drivers rage at you because of a simple mistake.
I get it must be frustrating for superior drivers racing those who try to race fair but make mistakes, so I can’t see us leaving our own little league any time soon.
You should've sent those people messages saying how they're so bad at driving that a toddler could do better 😂

I'm a newbie to the sim racing thing. I played in my first online lobby the other night and never again. People that turn these lobbies into Demolition Derby make it unenjoyable for people getting into the sport.
And people who treat this game like a sport make it unenjoyable for people who want to play demo derby.....what's your point? If you're expecting fair play from a public lobby, you've clearly never played any game in your life.

I think I stopped playing online with F1 2017 The toxic players just took over my sanity. Not surprised to see them still at it 4-5 years on. I do love videos like this. Wouldn't it be good to see the reactions of these idiots after they have been made to look incredibly stupid.
