something worth mentioning: many of these skills are reservation skills and considering in the recent play tests characters had base 0 spirit and all the reservation skills that weren't minions were notably missing from selection... it's fair to assume a rework of these skills is underway.
Really appreciate you putting together this compilation! One thing I noticed about all of the skills is that they all seem to have much higher mana costs as well as critical strike chance in PoE 2 as compared to skills in PoE 1. The Spirit mechanic for reservations explains the mana cost adjustment somewhat, as we'll have our mana available for casting, but I wonder about the crit changes.
Yeah the crit changes are something that I believe hasn't yet been asked about/answers in the various interviews. It may be simply that they've toned down the values of increased crit chance obtainable from sources and at the same time the high base crit can enable more EO type mechanics, but just a guess
Looks amazing, also listening to the playthroughs from the LA event without commentary, you can hear the skill effect audio which is equally incredible
Comet movement has probably been changed since its reveal don't you think? (As it was before WASD) Edit: or was it available in the latest test, don't think I've spotted it in any vids from there
Many of these skills have favorable base crit chance in comparison to POE1. They have generally unfavorable cast times in comparison to POE1. The tooltips do not display effectiveness of added damage. Does this imply we are going to have fewer base crit options available in POE2 relative to POE1? That would be reminiscent of earlier POE1 when base crit was incredibly rare, and generally only accessible in temporary or conditional situations. Does this mean gameplay will be slower in POE2? Base cast time of 0.9 feels terrible in POE1, and would require substantial cast speed or use via triggers to feel good to use. Is there flat added damage to spells in POE2? It seems this effect would be immensely powerful as it would effect all of your damaging abilities, of which you will have many in POE2 while we typically only have 1 or 2 per build in POE1.
Am I the only one that wish that skills like mana tempest do some additional things like make you immune to ice ground and poison ground since you're floating above ground?

Just a note, when i played frost wall at exilecon i noticed monsters would actually attack the wall, which made it great for crowd control.

The animation team really knocked it out of the park with these animations, even with the spells that are 1:1 to PoE1.
