“The hungries”, “the soggies”, “the greasies”…We sure were at war with a lot of strange enemies, according to add execs.
With the exception of the local spots, I remember 100% of these commercials.
Teddy Ruxpin, Grubby and Fob Hand Puppets- I like the range of emotions that the baby experiences throughout this commercial upon seeing those puppets, ranging from complete terror, to not being sure what to make of it, but goes along with it anyway.
Lipton Noodles And Sauce Alfredo- From the footage of the ingredients that go into making this, to the classical music playing throughout, they sure know how to take something as very simple as a packaged noodle side dish and make it very classy.
The McDonald’s piano recital commercial is one of those iconic 80s ads that every kid at the time was required to memorize.
I'm 44 and it still pops into my head at times!

Vividly remember that AMAZING STORIES episode with the WWII bomber and the gunner who is also an artist and his drawings saves him and the crew. Back when Kevin Costner was just another actor. Great stuff! :)
This volume has a great set of commercials I've enjoyed, from the McDonald's piano recital commercial to the Juicy Fruit commercial. Gotta love the 80's!
