Warmed my heart when you stopped for the "little guy." I stumbled across your videos looking for treadmill motivation. Thank you for not making me motion sick. Your voice and commentary are refreshing, and the silence lets me take in the beautiful scenery. So far, I’ve been to the Dolomites, Rome, and now Montana. This is truly your calling. Thank you for making such wonderful videos. I look forward to more!

Loved this, Henry! Good to see some more of lovely Montana! Like others have said, it was neat to see you pause for the "wooly worm," as I've heard others call them here in Ohio.
The colors are pretty and I'm sure seeing the larch trees in the mountains with some snow covering the tops of the mountains is a beautiful sight. I miss it!
Thanks again for yet again another fabulous walk! I'll back up and watch the Montana video you shared prior to this one (I skipped it 🤫, due to time).
    Stay blessed you & yours!

This walk was good for the soul as well as my circulation! I enjoyed both the silence AND the commentary - reminded me of a PBS video on the importance of grasslands. Thanks! 😊

Hi Jasmine and thanks for the donation. I'm glad you found it soothing. I've done a fair amount of work for an organization called American Prairie that is buying up unspoiled grassland in central Montana to keep it in reserve and to let it go back to it's natural state. It's a harsh but beautiful area. All the best and thanks. -H

With everything going on in the world your calming , relaxing walks are one of the enjoyable constants. The cloud formation is amazing. Looks like snow maybe on the way for you. They also make it look like you are at the top of the world!

Thanks so much! Someone called me the Bob Ross of Walking one time and it's my favorite compliment. (he was a famously calm painter who had a show on public television here in the US). No snow and the sun came out later in the day which made the colors pop even more. We might get some cold weather next week though. Cheers and hang in there. -H

Hi, very nice walk! I like the way you balance spoken narration (behind the camera) with the ambient sounds. And the camera movements are very smooth, with good crisp video. I looked back through some of your older videos (particularly Italy) and saw how in Naples you used captions instead of talking. Although the dominance of ambient sounds in that video made it more "immersive", I found that I missed your voice! You are definitely nice to listen to. :) Also, I noticed that in Italy you were switching from 30 to 60 fps, which makes a big difference in the immersion (on larger screens and TVs). Did you change camera around that time (I saw Hero 8 and iPhone 13 mentioned in your some of your descriptions)? Did switching cameras inspire the upgrade to 60 fps? And what camera are you using these days, like in this nature trail video? I'm very interested in the "behind the scenes" stuff since documenting trips and walks is a very important part of the experience! Anyway, great job, and I look forward to watching more of your videos!

Hi there. Thanks so much for your nice words. I'm currently using a combo of DJI Osmo Pocket 2 with the wireless mic and the iPhone 13pro with a dJI Osmo mobile gimbal and DJI wireless mic system. I think I used 24fps on some because I was trying to save space on the pocket during our trek. Though, I prefer 24p, many people asked for 60p so I've moved to that. I hope that helps and thanks. -H

Hi Terry, this is the town where I live and I've never felt endangered here. In the woods I usually carry bear spray. Other than that, I just depend on my size (6'6") and common sense. Most places I would go are perfectly safe, or as safe as anywhere else. I've only had one scary encounter, down in Cody, WY. Nunchucks would not have helped. Good question though. -H
