Thank you for this vital information on evaluations. Very helpful😎points to weave into my evaluations going forward. Areas to be mindful of writing out the evaluation and listening to the speech
Thanks for this. Criteria is always missed out and instead, very often I see 'Gotcha-culture' in TM. Example, when I included 5 examples, an evaluator said too many and some examples are not quite understood by the audience . Then in the next speech, when you used 2 out of the earlier 5 examples, the same evaluator said '"what about this and about that" and you practically he went to google it to see if I have missed out any examples. It is funny that he forgot his earlier evaluation. The lesson I learned and 2 other peers is don't pay attention.
As for sandwich rule wouldn't it be more useful to get 2 useful pieces of feed back and one pat on the back rather that 2 pats and one useful piece of feedback? Also your evaluation seemed insincere and artificial. Your enthusiasm didn't match the task at hand. Sure you love competing but did this person speech really hit it out of the park or are you just saying so.
No doubt you mean well. But it could be helpful for apply the gentle jewels of this video to this comment. For me, the art of constructing elevating evaluations is applicable to our various roles in life.
