    Daniel Arap Moi a.k.a NYAYO (Footsteps, to be followed by all citizens) was president of Kenya for a solid 24 years, from 1978 - 2002, and was NEVER seen without his famous Fimbo throughout his presidency, whether at home or overseas.
    His Fimbo came to be known as 'Fimbo Ya Nyayo' (Nyayo's Fimbo) and it was much revered as a powerful symbol of his strong leadership and national unity.
    Many songs were written and sung about the Fimbo, this one being the most famous one.
