'The Mallard' is an LNER A4- designed by Nigel Gresley and they are the fastest locomotives (They are British)

It's called the Mallard,. It's the younger sister of the Flying Scotsman, both operated by LNER from the 1930s to the 1950s.

The devs got lazy and made all the steam engines a 4-8-2. Nobody cares about steam anymore and its shitty.

That's not the mallard! The body is all wrong and the livery is more like the Sir Nigel Gresley (I know it has the side panels like the Mallard but they're the wrong colour)

As a railway expert, the names that the game gives to parts hurt to see. The piston tank is a cylinder, and the collective piston is the crosshead, slide bars, and slide. The piston is inside the cylinder.

train models were based on their wheel set. The third train would be a 4-8-2. 4 wheels in the front, 8 wheels in the middle, 2 wheels in the rear

Its actually not mallard, Its actually a Mikado 2-8-2 Steam Locomotive, Mallard has Red Wheels and has 3 wheels, But the Mikado has 4 wheels and its Valve Gear is on the 2nd wheel, And Also, Mallards Wheel Guard Is Blue, Not a Full Black,

Its actually not the mallard, due to the fact that it is a 4-8-2 which means that it is not even a LNER mikado. After doing some research, Gresley had made a prototype "Mountain" class which IS a 4-8-2. One other thing, the head lights are strange. It definitely looks like the mallard but it looks like an imaginary design.

Well, they screwed up.
Mallard is an A4 Pacific, so it has a 4-6-2 wheel arrangement. This is clearly an American 4-8-2 Mountain type locomotive with the same streamlining. Albeit quite poorly done. And those big lights don't look that nice on the top.

I know there are debates over wheter the mallard or the 18 201 was faster, the Mallard may have set a higher top speed but it was on a slight decline which helps it. :P

The makers of this game clearly have no experience with trains whatsoever. The terminology is all wrong, the interface is wrong, the designs are wrong... I'm gonna pass on this game.
