What was that first dish? The flat bread? What is that called.
For those wondering what food:
1) Fried dumpling skins with spicy squid and chives
2) Meat roll with cheesy ricecake
3) Pumpkin seed hotteok (fried dough with a brown sugar filling)
4) Hong kong egg waffles
5) Deep fried squid with various seasonings
6) Savory beef pancake with pickled veges

it was at this night market in Busan that I first tried Hotteok with mozzarella and now I'm desperately hoping that somewhere in Sydney a korean restaurant will serve it... :( also the tteokbokki we tried there was insanely hotter than what I was used to. so good. really miss these vibes/food trips!

아는 사람은 진짜 씁쓸한 마음 가지게 하는 곳임
원래 다문화가정 지원책이여서 노점상 점주는 중구청에서 지정해서 시작한 취지가 참 좋았고 재래시장 활성화에도 어느정도는 기여를 한 좋은 시작이였음
점주 바뀌는 거도 원래는 까다로운 사항들이 많았음(점주 친척이나 가족이여야 한다는 조건 등)
그걸 조율하는게 상인회인데......
알다시피 돈이 걸리니
처음에는 여러 나라 음식 뿐만이 아니라 그 나라의 특이한 상품들도 팔고 해서 인근 시민들도 저녁에 놀러가곤 했는데 하~~
지금은 보시다시피 전부 한국사람이 길거리음식만 만들어 파는 곳이 되어버림
권리금 비싸게 주고 장사하러 들어왔으니 가격이 싸지도 않고
결국은 부산사람 특히 인근에 사는 사람들은 안 가는 곳이 되어버림
관광객들만 바가지쓰러 가는 곳이 됨
차라리 좀 일찍 노점 없는 시간에 가서 재래시장에서 파는 거 사 먹는게 훨 나음
와 그런 취지여서 그나마 몇년전만해도 짜조도 있고 사탕수수도 있고 그랬구나...영상보면서 왜 다 뻔한 길거리음식만 있지했는데
좋은 취지였는데 씁쓸하네요...
젠장, 가보고 싶다 생각했던 맴이 짜게 식네.... ㅡㅡ
자국민 역차별 정책이 시작이었는데 다문화 가정에서 권리를 비싸게 팔고 튀었나보네요
