From this episode, it looks like Jadis had a deal with Rick. I bet she gave him the drawings on the phone as some sort of trade. Jadis was an artist and was making sculptures in the junkyard in The Walking Dead. Some of the pictures on the phone were of Judith older than she was when Rick left and she also knows about RJ. She has been keeping a lot from Rick to control him.
That does make sense about Jadis being an artist but if u go back and look at the etchings. They aren't really that detailed. Just a caricature of a little girl that looks enough like when he last left her and maybe what he imagined she would look like older. Also etchings of Michonne, which he didn't need. Plus Why would Jadis write "believe a little longer" on them if she wanted him to stay? I think maybe it was just him starting to forget what they looked like so etched them to remind him what he's fighting for. Like a photo album. Jadis left when Rick left so how would she know about the pregnancy? I mean ur theory could be right, but I have my doubts.

@@stormrayne7723 Sure, I believe that. I think tho Jadis' threat would not be that effective since he has info that she lied about him being an B and all the "off the record" meetings and details. If that wasn't serious, she wouldn't need to keep it so secret and have to have a secret agreement. She would be in just as much trouble. Having said all that, I still believe Jadis, Anne, still has a loyalty to Rick, Gabe and her old family. I think she will ultimately protect them.
First thing I did when I got home from church was watch this reaction video. I was in shock when Nat got killed I absolutely love their short friendship.

I wonder how Rick is gonna find out about RJ. At first I thought she would rell him outright but upon rewatch, i noticed that rick put her journal in his backpack. So I'm wondering if he'll read it. In it she explicitly says "your brother" when writing to judith in the twd finale.
I don't think he kept it. Too much of a risk to them both.
I couldn't help but scream for michonne to stand up when rick was begging her to come to the crm. "Think Michonne! He can't keep that promise that he'll get you out when his butt has been trapped for a decade, almost!" But once I saw her smile, I was like, oh, lawd. My poor babies.

If she hasn’t gone in then, she’d likely never have seen Rick again. He can’t come out and find her, she can’t get in. This was the only way for them to bothhopefully get out. Janis has to die to protect everyone they know. Mind you the crm out there could easily one die find their home and destroy it so something needs to happen to stop them.
They didn’t have time to escape. It was too much open space and they had a chopper. They wouldn’t have gotten far.

The writing is amazing. Andy and Danai saved this franchise. And with characters like Nat? These guys are on the verge of a HUGE hit.
My 2 theories: 1. Jadis knows about Commonwealth. Littlefinger Hornsby was her contact and they sent the CRM the missing people on the train. 2. Silas will be the one to take out Jadis. He joined up to infiltrate and Jadis seemed like she wanted to mentor him.
I can TOTALLY see Hornsby being tied to this somehow.
Thorn knows ricks shit... and jadus. He's not able to make a clean break yet. - I'm pissed about nate. But they did a good job getting us attached in less than a full episode... sigh.
Another excellent episode. Such a shame that Nat had to die he was a great character that I would have loved to see in future episodes.
Now that we’ve seen Jadis could we potentially be seeing Silus in this too? I could see him helping Rick escape.

I loved this episode. I enjoyed seeing Michonne with this new group of friends. It was sad what the CRM did to them, but the worst part is what happened to Nat. It's been a while since I instantly fell in love with a new character the way I did with Nat. He would have been such a great addition to the community back home at Alexandria. 😢😢 I'm so happy that we have Richonne back together. I'm with you on not being comfortable with Michonne being at the CRM. I'm not playing with The Walking Dead. They better not harm Michonne in any way, shape, or form. I just want both Rick & Michonne to survive this and make it back home safely to their kids. They have gone through too much to not get a happy ending together. Loved your reaction and theories.
Nat was a real one and we were robbed of his greatness! I hate the idea of Michonne being trapped inside the CRM but them not being alone and having each other makes this all possible now!

Our ONLY hope is to pull a Commonwealth here & use their inside ties, hopefully with Jadis & Thorne, to take out anyone that is the most rotten at the core & THEN utilize the resources properly to build up culling centers around either major cities or suburban areas & slowly take out the current walker population. Thats what they were doing in world beyond the last however many years. And for the revitalization of the world, that is the best way to start.
A dozen or hundred small communities fighting each other for RSS & power ain’t it. Hasn’t worked long term yet. SO. If we don’t work to change the CRM as we did the commonwealth, it’s over for EVERYONE except the worst parts of the CRM. And tell me, HOW exactly is that a good thing???

I could see Rick trying to play into Jadis’s desperation for power, we know she loves to climb the charts and it willing to betray those she aligned with if you make the right deal with her as season 7 & 8 showed us but all in all from everything we have seen from her, she cannot be trusted, not long term. She is an opportunist, so if along whatever plan they make she see’s a way of achieving something greater that means betraying Rick, we know she will do it! She wants to be where the strongest community is and she wants to be at the top!
She does not value friendship or love, she has constantly betrayed and killed people, even ones she supposedly cared about, simply because she feels her interests are more important than the greater good! Nearly trading Gabe showed that, killing Huck, trying to Kill Indira and her community and then in the end Elizabeth. All these decisions were pure power plays, so if Rick wants to use her, I say go for it but there is going to be a time to kill her! I wouldn’t trust her leading this place

Such an emotional episode, even more then the first and that's saying a lot. I'm glad I'm not binge watching it, I would be so drained. Rick is so broken but the one person that can bring him back from that is Michonne but Jadis is a problem

This episode was crazy good. I like the first but I was a bit confused and had to go back and watch it a few times but the action and acting was just insane. Yes Rick is back. But episode 2 was just so endearing. I adored Nat and the 2 others. It was just so perfect. I cannot wait to see Epi 3
I think Jadis remembers and still appreciates what Rick, Michonne and crew did for her. Even tho she's towing the line, I think she will protect and help them in the end. Maybe sacrifice herself against Beale/CRM for them. 🤞
i could see her slightly directing them on routes out, kind of like how esteban directs rick to the tunnels with the gate code, but i couldn't see jadis dying for them or giving up the position she has to risk freeing them. even if she wanted to escape with them, there would be no reason for jadis to make such a sacrifice as she left alexandria believing everybody hated her and didn't trust her, so without the crm, theres nowhere for her to go unless she suddenly starts some love chase to see gabriel. why risk a position of power within a city that was like the old world? i couldn't see it myself tbh, she's too snakey to risk herself for others, she's proved that a number of times.
@@VNOMALII Unless Alexandria and whatever groups are left join forces with Portland if they can prove CRM took out Omaha. Then maybe Jadis who is an opportunist may help. Plus she I think still cares for the group. But who knows, u may be right. Can't wait to see how it ends, if it connects with the spinoffs or gets a second season.
@@JoshuaMartian-go3tm yeh that's a possible outcome, she is known for switching sides in the moment to favour the obvious successor, but if so who would really give her a chance again at that point? personally, i think it'd be great if they continued with the main spinoffs, like daryl dixon & dead city, and somehow tie them together towards their ends so that everyone makes their way back to alexandria, and then finish towl with a season of everyone back together. morgan has already started making tracks back to alexandria in fear, so now we just need carol to find daryl in france and get back to the states, and we need maggie to take out the croat, get negan back and head back to georgia. this would tie up perfectly for a finale in the ones who live.

Another great episode and reaction Tomaj. Another episode of me 😭 at 2am in the morning 😂. R.I.P. Nat, Bailey and Aden, I really grew to like these characters in the space of under an hour. Now we know for sure why Michonne and Nat took the helicopter down. They killed all her friends and for no fuking reason 🤬, if you’re the most powerful military on the planet why you so damn scared of a group of random people? And that bitch jadis had better die a horrible death no redemption whatsoever I don’t care if she let’s Rick and Michonne walk out hand in hand. I refuse to believe that Michonne’s whole group was wiped out by that gas, there was literally thousands of them.
They weren’t, it was only a few of them that broke away to join Michonne. Most of them stayed in the original group.
It wasn’t the whole group that we saw. It’s just the ones who wanted to help
