I would like there to be an explanation on why no one is living at the hilltop apart from her and Herschel. (I know they are living at Commonwealth) but why? Why does she not have anyone she’s close with? Her saying that suggests she doesn’t keep in contact with Commonwealth or they had a falling out.
I think Negan is putting on a show because of protecting Herschel and Maggie. To some its exciting to see this transformation of the old Negan,but i still think there's much more to this season than meets Negan's Big Bad Bat.
It was 6 episodes in season 1, I’m not sure if it’s been confirmed, but there are rumors that season 2 will be 8 episodes. Can’t wait for old Negan’s return
My theory on the plot is a little out there: Herschel has been "programmed" like the winter soldier by the dama. Something triggers him and his dark side starts murdering people. Maggie needs negan to get the deprogramming"code" for her... and she'll rescue negan from himself in the process.
@@aliengranpa except it isn’t. She cut off Hershel’s toe as a message. And she used it against negan. Hershel no longer has a part in this. Maggie’s actor stated one of the main reasons she goes back for negan is along the lines of negan is like one of the people she’s known for a long time other than her friends in this world.

that ship has sailed, i'm afraid. make-up can do a lot, but jdm has hit an age now where theres no believable way to pull it off anymore - having him in a prequel looking significantly older than the first appearance on the main show just aint gonna cut it. had they have him run off somewhere around s9 they might have been able to get away with it.
I wonder how closely they could follow the comic since we saw Lucille at home in bed, not at the hospital. Maybe we get Negan running into the group & laying down his rules (no women or children) around the campfire? Either way, I would absolutely watch!
I hope in the scene where theyre looking at eachother that he looks at her and drops the bat and says lets talk or something along those lines. I really hope with the small amount of trust she has towards him and the fact she goes to save him that he sees that and tries to make her understand his situation. I dont want any bad maggie vs negan moments 😂 hes redemed himself and the only way i see him being bad towards her or anyone he knows is if he is forced too

Welcome back Jarrell and Josh Its been so long also the scene with Negan walking into that theater when the lights came on did remind of when Negan walk out of the RV in the season 6 finale also season 2 of dead City is now 8 episodes also do you guys think that in Season 2 of Dead City that Herschel tells Maggie that she needs to let go of her hatred for Negan and Maggie slowly not officially but slowly understands that her hatred for Negan is getting to her head and is affecting Herschel as well and that is when Perlie Armstrong tells Maggie that he spared Negan and that he lied to his boss about killing Negan and that is when Maggie knows in that moment she has to go back to Manhattan to go save Negan and she asks Perlie to come back to Manhattan with to help her save Negan
This has me optimistic about this season. I just hope Babylon and the mute girl aren't a huge part because they weren't great last season or just write them better
I always thought itd be funny for Hershel and Ginny to have a relationship. Her father figure killed his father but they are in love which also has to bring negan and maggie closer together. It could also have drama because hell most likely want to go with her to help her save negan while he is actually planning to kill him but maggie finds out his plan and goes to save her son and negan but when she sees he is kind of him old self has some trouble with that but throighout the season tried to explain to hershel how all people do bad things including her, and that negan has earned his place despite how much she hates hik for what hes done
If dead city is after the ones who live why not just get the crm to wipe out Croats group and be done with it. Doesn’t make sense, same with Negan having another Lucile after he finally got over that and burnt his old one 🤷♂️
