I love the sound of you cleaning your brush. Please don't change it when all someone has to do is turn off the volume and turn on the closed captioning if they are 1 of the few people who don't like something universally done.
I’m totally starting here! Focusing on water and brush control and not get all anxious over color mixing at the moment. I was just thinking yesterday… if only 99.99 tutorials didnt focus so much on flowers without the leaves… I would so love a long long tutorial playlist or a whole channel on mastering leaves on stalks and leaves on composition.😅 Now i will go through all your segments on leaves.
That is so true! I do love painting leaves, it is so soothing and relaxing! I am now inspired to make more leaves tutorial on my channel. They do get the one of the highest views!
Crystal, I have a request: please don't hit the glass jar (water) with your brushes. The sound is very annoying especially when I see your videos with headphones. Much obliged.
Oh dear I didnt think how loud and high pitch that would sound on headphones! I actually do like the sound as it sounds like a little bell (without headphones). I am afraid I probably wont remember not doing that when Im painting as I am usually in a flow, and its all just automatic muscle memory. But swapping to plastic jars could help as Sig below suggested. :)
I watch a lot of you tube watercolor tutorials. The clinking sound that the brush makes against the water jar as you are rinsing it out is pretty much universal.
It's legit one of my favorite sounds. There are ways for the viewer to get around having to hear it and to ask you to entirely change is... it's not something you need to do.
I love the sound of your brush touching the glass jar. It sounds like a bell before meditation.
It actually does. :)

Very good tutorial. I was just thinking “it would be nicer if she had a plastic jar”. Thanks Crystal, I am off to do this fun exercise now
