Aigiri Nandini with Meaning | Devi Stuti | Durga | Bharatanatyam

Hello friends! October is here & as you all know this month is about celebrating one of the most worshipped Goddess in Hindu mythology; "Maa Durga". She is known to combat evil & demonic forces that threat peace. Presenting "Durga Stuti" where she defeats the demon "Mahishasura" to liberate oppressed & restore peace & prosperity. Hope you like it!
Also, I have added explanation of each line that's depicted through dance. Hope additional context helps. Enjoy!

One of the biggest challenges for any dancer of this hymn are the contrasting but fast moving expressions of the Goddess - like the contrast in the main refrain Mahishasura-mardini (O, slayer of the demon) Ramya-kapardini (O, with beautiful hair). Your choreographic transitions are very nice! 💐
