To all the haters on this movie.... Please stop, okay! 1) Emma will do fine as Belle. She's not what I expected either, but she will be a breath of fresh air. If everything was the same in the live-action remakes then there would be no point in making them. 2) Hollywood is not running out of ideas, nor is Disney. These live-action remakes are offering us a new perspective to already beloved tales. 3) The dress, I agree, is a little too modern, but there are always differences from trailer to movie and they might end up changing the dress. 4) People are complaining that Emma is not pretty enough to be Belle... To this I have to respond with... no.... just no.... Honestly Emma is way more beautiful than the animated Belle. And don't get me wrong, I love the animated Beauty and the Beast, but Emma definitely has more of an endearing face. 5) Of course the enchanted objects look creepy. Even if they modeled them exactly like they did in the animated version, they would look creepy because that is translating animation to live-action. It doesn't always look exactly the same. Mind you, Belle is ANIMATED. Of course she's "heavenly beautiful".It's just not really possible for a human being to look like that and Emma is probably the most beautiful actress out there that is talented enough to play Belle. There might be, say, models that are prettier but I have found that many models are terrible actors so I think Emma will work.

I think this looks great. Yes, the CGI with the talking kettles is a little cringy... But think of the concept- it's a woman her falls in love with her captive who is cursed to look like a beast. It was creepy as a concept for a cartoon as well, but we didn't see it that way as children, and something about it being animated didn't make it seem as bad. This Disney film is problematic if you look at it critically. Still, I'm excited. Maybe watch it first before making judgements?
I love it but I dont like the yellow dress. It is too modern. I mean I always imagined Beauty and Beast takes place in the 1700s and there it was more fluffy dresses like in the animated movie.

I think the role of Belle was casted well. Emma is a lovely young actress and I can't wait to see her performance. I will go see it simply because I love the story and it looks like they stuck to the script of the animated version pretty closely. It's something I can take both my daughters to see and enjoy it myself.

Hogwarts Gryffindor it's more like a wooden stock to defend herself. it's too big and clumsy to be a wand. you can't wave it as you would need to for certain incantations such as 'infinite' where you need to wave your wand in a certain way to obtain the wanted effect (for 'infinite' it's to stop the effect of the opponents spell). furthermore, she couldn't have disguised it in her cloak, otherwise we would've seen it in the seconds before.
People don't seem to understand why live action films exist and think that just because the CJI doesn't look good it will be bad. The idea that live action films exist is to make the cartoon (child) versions of our favorite Disney movies into adult versions and probably because like every movie theirs flaws in it that people didn't like or wish it happened another way. Like i would of liked it if they showed the castle wears or furniture fighting the villagers more in the 1991 version so maybe they will make it longer. they even changed the story some. If you do some history searching on the title you will find that the story didn't have Belle's three sisters and instead of getting lost in the woods and being held prisoner in the Beast's castle he picked a rose and before he did that he ate food at the castle. You are judging a movie just by its cover. You are seeing no more than 2:30 of it and the movie will more than likely be almost 2 hours. This is just a trailer so likely the CJI will look better when you see it in theaters or watch it in 3D or whatever. As for the beauty of Belle I personally think Emma Watson is perfect for the role. I haven't seen much of her in other movies but she looks very stunning in that dress. Finally I love the music playing in this trailer. It tells me that their is going to be romance, excitement, confusion, suspense and so many other feelings. It is Disney's job to keep the magic of movies running and they are doing an awesome job. They are able to take music from the original movie and make something sound so different though its the same tune and song. I am very interested in how the song Be Our Guest will sound like. Disney made Beauty and the Best in 1991 a classic and very memorable movie that many say is the most perfect film. So why try and make a live action version of a movie that is perfect as it is you ask? Well they are challenging themselves to beat their own personal record you could say. Everyone tries to do that now playing games on their electronics. This is no different. Disney has and will continue to make Awwwsssommmeeee movies both live and animation.
