    My sister is now diagnosed with breast cancer and PET scan is pending to determine the spread (metastasis)
    I am working in Frankfurt and she is in Pune with two young kids and the wait is horrifying.

    In sabiston it's written estrogen alone doesn't increase risk of breast cancer but both estrogen and progesterone increase the risk of breast cancer.Whats the reason for it?? Why estrogen alone doesn't increase the risk?

    Wonder when this biased attitude of going to a Gynaecologist for breast diseases just because it's a predominantly female organ will stop among the public. More often than not it just prolongs and complicates the clinical outcome.

    • @lefthandedsurgeon
      @lefthandedsurgeon  4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Aryamon Mukherjee I agree. At the same time I would like to say that a lot of gynaecologists are now referring patients almost immediately
