In this sentence, there is a “because” and there is a “so”. "Because" and "so" are conjunctions. They link two sentences together. But the point is you should only use one of them in a sentence, not two of them together. No No No No. They cannot be used together in the same sentence. So, you should use either of the two: I liked him, so I tried to help him. or I tried to help him because I liked him. Because I liked him, I tried to help him.
First off all, thank you for the brilliant lesson. As you informed us, we can not use two conjunction to connect two sentences. Rather than that we can say, I liked him so I helped him. Also, we can say because I liked him, I helped him.
Because and so are conjunctions and we can't use both of them in a sentence we've to use one. The correct forms are:- 1.) I tried to help him because I liked him. 🌸🌸 2.). I liked him so I tried to help him.🌸🌸 Thanks a million Maddy sir 😊😊😊

It's really a great, great class teacher! I wonder if I could ask you a video about "WHO AND WHOM", sometimes it's a little bit difficult. Thanks in advance for your attention.
Hi, I've heard Ms Ronny the youtube teacher says that does not matter at all you can use who all ways! Whom is an ancient atavism that nobody cares whether anybody uses them or not. Therefore I'd like to mention some examples of when the olden version is correct just to help you, dear stranger. Whom do you expect to see? Whom did you give it to?
P. S. Forgot to mention I'm not a native English speaker, however, I I've learned or even mastered this skill without any special learning and classes. This comes just so natural you won't believe in case it's so difficult or seems to be now to you!
Well, I think whom is followed with person and who is followed with verb. The man whom I saw this morning was actually your husband! The man who washed my car yesterday was my husband
According to you ( this video) two conjunction can't use together in one sentence . Therefore both because & so are conjunction 1- " Because " I liked him , I tried to help him . 2 - I liked him "so" I help him
9:14 1) Ans: 'Because' and 'so' are both conjunctions. We can use only one of them in a sentence. 2) Ans: i) Because I liked him, I tried to help him. ii) I liked him, so I tried to help him.

The problem with that sentence is, they're two conjunctions in a sentence. The correct one one would either be, " Because I liked him, I tried to help him!" Or " I liked him, so I tried to help him". Thanks for the clear and purposeful videos. 👍🏾

l liked him , so l tried to help him. I tried to help him , because l liked him. What a marvelous teacher , his teaching way is absolutely effective to people who are keen to learn english. I appreciate your memorable words for learning english.
I learned a lot today. Thank you so much. As for your challenge my answer is Because I liked him, I help him. It is a combination of dependent clause separated by comma from the main clause which is I tried to help him.
I don’t know if I’m wrong, but in that sentence there are two conjunctions (because and so), which cannot fit together. So, the correct ones can be the following: “I tried to help him because I liked him” and “I liked him, so I tried to help him”. Now, I would like to know from a native English speaker if the sentences after this one haven’t got mistakes: “I had liked him, so I tried to help him” and “I tried to help him because I had liked him”. I look forward the replies. Thanks so much.
There is two conjunction because & so . We should use one of them like I liked him so I tried to help him. And because I liked him I tried to help him . Well done teacher Maddy I proud to have you ❤️
"Because i like him so i try to help him" There is repetition of 2 noun in one sentence that is him and conjunction because and so.. The correct sentence is: I try to him because i like him
Because I like him,so I tried to help him! Mistake:- because & so Correct sentence:- I like him ,so I tried to help him! Or Because I like him , I tried to help him!
'Because' and 'so' are wrong cause of using in one sentence at the same time.I liked him so I tried to helped him. Another correct form is that I helped him because I liked him.
1- The wrong with the sentence is that there are two conjunection in one sentence X 2- the correct form " I liked him so I tried to help him " or " because I liked him I tried to help him "
This is more of a mix up, but one of my biggest pet peeves is when people confuse “Much” with “many”. Like those stupid TH-cam comments that say “You’ll never know how I got this much likes.” It’s “this MANY likes”. Much is an unspecified, broad amount of something that cannot be quantified in counting numbers. For example, having so much energy. If it wouldn’t make sense to say you have 5 energy, then it wouldn’t make sense to say you have many energy. Many is a narrower, specific amount of something that can be quantified via counting numbers. For example, having so many apples. You can count these apples individually. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so on. But you cannot count your energy individually. You don’t have 1 energy or two energy or anything like that. In fact, energy comes from a few different intake factors. That means that it can’t be measured using only one factor anyway, unlike things that can be counted with counting numbers. And the bodily factors you would need to use all have units attached to the end of them. Like calories for example. In fact, energy itself is measured in a unit. But the word “many” only works when describing something that can be measured in counting numbers. And things that can be measured in counting numbers cannot be counted in units. Pounds are a unit, if I said I had 8 pounds could you tell me how many apples I had and it be the guaranteed correct answer? No you couldn’t, because not all apples weigh the same. Are they green or red? Are they ripe or not? Were they grown from a strong tree with good soil? Did they fall prematurely? All of that can affect the weight of the apples. Now you could safely rule out the number being…say…50 apples or a hundred apples because those would both weigh far more than 8 pounds. But you could not give me an exact number with 100% certainty. But if I said I had 8 pounds of sand. Look at it or just carry it around. Either way, you can surmise that it is around 8 pounds. Or just weigh it out and see. You cannot weigh 50 apples without knowing there are 50 of them and then be able to find out how many there are simply by the weight. Much also generally refers to one mass, whereas many refers to individual masses. So, in the case I mentioned, it isn’t “ so much likes” because each like is independent of the others. They don’t all form one super like, they are individual. Furthermore, much is a very colloquial term. Colloquial means it is very grammatically informal. Many is also colloquial, but due to it being more specific it is less informal and more appropriate in this given situation. Grammar as a whole is a big pet peeve for me. But “Much vs Many” always annoys me. It might just be the most common grammar mistake I see.
1: WE CAN'T USE TWO CONJUNCTIONS IN A SINGLE SENTENCE.SO THE CORRECT SENTENCE WOULD BE: 2: BECAUSE I LIKED HIM, I TRIED TO HELP HIM. OR I LIKED HIM ,SO I TRIED TO HELP HIM.

Hello, hope you doing well! Because and so are same meaning, we have to use one of them in the sentence. The correct sentence either I liked him, so I tried to help him Or I tried to help him, because I liked him .
Because is used in the middle of sentence Example:I tried to help him because I liked him. If we want to use because at the beginning of the sentence we don't say because but we can say"because of" Example:because of my like to him,I tried to help him.
